A collection of environmental protection stories
Who brought bad luck to the child
Beibei was born less than five months ago, just like many other children. So cute. You see, he has thick and soft black hair, a pair of bright eyes that often look at you and smile, and a small dimple appears from time to time on his rosy face. Anyone who sees him will fall in love with him immediately. Beibei's parents treat him like a baby. They are afraid that he will freeze, be hungry, and especially afraid that he will cry. Therefore, Beibei lives a happy life!
Beibei turned half a year older, but something unfortunate happened. Blisters appeared one after another on his delicate face, chest, back, abdomen, hands and feet. Then the blisters got bigger and bigger, and slowly turned into pustules and began to fester. The pain made the little Beibei non-stop all day long. crying. This frightened his father and mother. They quickly sent Beibei to the hospital for treatment. Now, Beibei could no longer laugh. From summer to autumn, Beibei received injections, medicine, and ointments almost every day, and finally the disease was under control.
However, the doctor told Beibei’s parents: They must pay attention to keeping their child’s skin clean. Therefore, Beibei's parents saved money and hired a nanny for Beibei to bathe and change his clothes frequently. Who knew that the next year when the weather got hot, Beibei's body would be covered with big pustules again. So, I had to send him to the hospital again. This time it really tortured Beibei. Little Beibei was so painful that she kept crying until her voice became hoarse. In order to treat Beibei's disease, the whole family went to all the famous doctors for medical treatment, but they could only provide temporary treatment and still could not cure the disease. The disease relapsed every summer and autumn, causing Beibei to suffer a lot at a young age and her physical condition declined significantly. Finally, with a glimmer of hope, Beibei's parents sent Beibei to the largest hospital in the province for medical treatment. After a comprehensive examination, the doctors asked Beibei's mother about her work history and living habits. They finally diagnosed that the child's illness was caused by internal fire. Just treating the surface of the skin was of no use. The root cause of the disease was related to the mother's lack of good health. Related to living habits. It turns out that Beibei's mother started working at the age of 18 and worked as a kiln worker for 13 years. She shovels coal and adds charcoal next to the hot brick kiln every day, breathing the polluted air. She often felt that her throat was so dry that it seemed to be on fire, she was tired, weak, and upset. At the beginning, she was not used to the hot work and air pollution at all, but as time went by, she gradually got used to it and didn't take it to heart. Unexpectedly, more than ten years later, this kind of environmental pollution would bring unchangeable misfortune to his precious child, and this misfortune would follow him like a shadow throughout his life. Whenever she thinks of all this, Beibei's mother is heartbroken.
A scene beside “the best water in the world”
The scenery of Jiuzhaigou Valley is famous both at home and abroad. Haizi in Jiuzhaigou Valley is even more beautiful than anywhere else in the world. Under the reflection of the blue sky, the water is full of colors and changes in color. It is known as the "first water in the world". There is an endless stream of Chinese and foreign tourists coming here for sightseeing, and they never want to leave. However, not long ago, a tourist told me a heart-wrenching true story there.
On this day, there were many tourists by Haizi. The lake was as clear as a mirror, reflecting the green mountains. Everyone was intoxicated by the beautiful scenery in front of them, but soon, this harmonious beauty was ruthlessly destroyed. I saw a few fashionably dressed young men and women walking in front of me. They were eating and listening to the messy rock music playing on the portable tape recorder. They looked so unhappy. By the sea, they stood still. In the sparkling waves, the lively and clever fish shuttled back and forth in the game.
With a sound of "pop!", a piece of apple peel was thrown into the water. Immediately afterwards, one of the young women kneaded a handful of bread and scattered it. Suddenly, the clear blue lake surface became ugly, like a broken face.
We saw it in our eyes and felt pain in our hearts. Several people rushed up to dissuade them. The young man glanced at it and said angrily: "Who are you, and why are you meddling in other people's business?" The girl thought she was a compassionate "female Bodhisattva" and said plausibly: "How can the fish survive if you don't feed it? Look, They even asked me for their tails and blew bubbles. They were really grateful to us!" Look at her unpretentious expression. I was really ashamed of her and thought to myself, how could such a graceful and noble "civilized lady" do it? I don’t even understand the common sense that fish live by eating plankton and microorganisms. Fortunately, they stopped "giving".
At this time, some people not far away caught my attention.
At a glance, you can tell that they are compatriots from Hong Kong and Macao and foreign tourists. They were rolling up their trouser legs and pulling a lot of garbage out of the water. One of the foreign friends shook his head and asked puzzledly in not very fluent Chinese: "Every nation compares the soil they live in for generations to their 'mother.' In this unique and picturesque scenery, why? What about ruining my mother like this?"
His tone was not serious, but it hit my heart like a whip. I think this foreigner’s voice will also stir up the self-respecting soul of every Chinese! Does the beauty of the motherland really need foreigners to protect it?
PCB Case
In the mid-1970s, after my country banned the production and use of PCBs, the Beijing Environmental Protection Department collected a batch of PCB capacitors and sealed them in a cave in Huairou County for future use. deal with.
Twelve years later, it was a night in December 1989. A few farmers, lured by a large sum of money, stole these PCB capacitors for three Zhejiang "businessmen".* **570 only. PCB is a synthetic organic substance that can enter the human body through the skin, respiratory tract, and digestive tract and is harmful to health. It is a highly toxic substance that is extremely difficult to decompose. In 1968, the "Rice Bran Oil Incident" in Japan shocked the world. Thousands of people were poisoned and 16 people died. It was caused by the inadvertent penetration of PCB as a heat carrier during the processing of rice bran oil. According to international practice, every 7 kilograms of PCB stolen is a major environmental pollution case. Now this batch of stolen capacitors contains dozens of kilograms of PCB, so the incident is very serious.
After receiving the report of the case, the Beijing Public Security Bureau arrested the criminal within a few days. But the stolen goods were missing, and the names and addresses of the Zhejiang "businessmen" were unknown. As a result, urgent faxes were sent from Beijing to the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government, Provincial Public Security Bureau, Provincial Environmental Protection Bureau and other relevant departments, requesting assistance in locating the whereabouts of the stolen PCBs. Huangyan, Zhejiang is a world-famous Orange Township and a nationally famous market for used electrical appliances. If PCB capacitors spread there, it will not only endanger the health of local people, but also bring PCBs to all parts of the country through contaminated tangerines, with disastrous consequences.
Sure enough, 1,500 PCB capacitors were found and seized in the Huangyan area, and their number far exceeded the number stolen in Huairou County. So where did these capacitors come from? Are the capacitors stolen in Huairou County here or not? Following the clues and analyzing the case, the case of environmental pollution caused by PCB capacitors in Huangyan area finally came to light: these highly toxic pollutants came from a power substation company in Shanghai! Relevant personnel of this company, knowing full well that PCBs are highly toxic substances, paid a "destruction fee" of 30,000 yuan and pushed the "burden" to a scrap company in Shanghai. The latter sold the capacitors through a broker, and then flowed into Huangyan, plus A batch of guns in Huairou County totals about 1,500. Nowadays, these capacitors are sealed in two warehouses that are inaccessible and guarded by dedicated personnel. The polluted place was also in the early Qing Dynasty, and the crisis that had been imminent was finally resolved. But this PCB pool poisoning case tells us: What is terrible is not PCB, but people's ignorance, greed and various malfeasance of relevant personnel.
A thousand-year-old well will not spit back
In ancient times, there was a small official somewhere in the south of the Yangtze River in our country. One day, he received a business trip assignment to deliver documents to the capital at that time. He hurried on the road on a horse. In the evening, he stayed in an inn. There is a well in the hotel. The water is warm in winter and cool in summer, and has a hint of sweetness. The petty officials drank the water from the well and felt that the hard work of the journey was relieved a lot. This well has added many wonderful memories to people traveling from south to north. But this little official was a selfish person. When he left the hotel the next morning, he poured the grass and roots left by the horse into the well.
About a month later, the petty official came back from the capital to do business and came to this hotel again. When he arrived here, it was completely dark. After a long day of traveling, the small official felt tired and thirsty, so he fetched water from the well to drink. Because it was dark and could not see the water in the bucket clearly, the small official was so thirsty that he drank the water like a cow drinking, and ended up drinking a straw. The straw stick got stuck in the petty official's throat, and he couldn't swallow it and spit it out. After a while, the petty official died. And this straw was the one that fell into the well when he came here last time. In order to learn from the lessons of petty officials, the ancients warned future generations: "Don't spit on a thousand-year-old well." This means warning people not to pollute the water source.
It’s a little mouse named Mimi. It is the nature of mice to be afraid of cats. But recently, cats being afraid of cats has become a monopoly on cats.
This is what happened: I happened to pass by a sewer one day, and the smell of radioactive elements made me very excited. I took a lick carefully, it was really delicious! Suddenly, I found that my body was swelling, my internal organs were pulsing powerfully, my bones were growing like mushrooms after rain, and finally, the top of the sewer was broken. Keep licking and licking, and her body is growing as hard as she can. Her body is really shocking, 1.8 meters! Now she can be on an equal footing with those who think they are superior! Thinking of this, I can't help but hold my head high, leisurely I walked leisurely on the street, and the people around me were so scared that they quickly ran into the boxy little house that looked like a cage. There was only one person left on the wide road. How comfortable it was! At this time, my stomach was growling. Hey, I'm hungry! So I walked into a department store, and everyone in the room was scared to death. Don't worry about it for now, fill your stomach first. Looking at the house full of delicacies, but I have no appetite, what's wrong? Isn't sausage my favorite? Why are you not interested in it now? There was a noise outside the house, many police cars blocked the outside, and a police officer took the He was yelling at a crappy thing, but in fact he had no idea what he was talking about. I was too lazy to pay attention to him and continued to look for his food. A dart penetrated his body with a "swish" sound, and he yawned immediately, and soon he fell into a deep sleep...
When he woke up, he had been sent to the research institute, and several young people The scientists were chattering around and wanted to run, but their limbs were all tied up and they couldn't move. At this time, one of them poured something into his big mouth, and he smelled the smell of radioactive elements again, and he ate happily. After he was full, he felt that he was extremely strong. With a slight tug, the steel chain was broken. The people's eyes widened and their mouths almost became "○" shapes. They proudly walked out of the research with their heads held high. Place. With a "dang" sound, the dart hit the ground. I was so excited. Now I am invulnerable. Those stinky policemen are not afraid anymore and I can do whatever they want!
But the good times did not last long, and the food sources found were becoming less and less, and the sewage containing radioactive elements was becoming increasingly rare. On the contrary, clear water with rippling blue waves can be seen everywhere. Fish swim happily in the water, birds fly freely in the sky, and flowers bloom to their heart's content, but they are getting older and haggard day by day, often... I had no stomach pellets all day long and was in great pain. Looking at the beautiful scenery around me, the clean ground, and the signs erected everywhere, not only my family was also hit hard, my mother sadly told: "Humans Now that we are paying attention to environmental protection, we have no way to survive..."
So one afternoon, I starved to death under a high-erected sign. People buried them there, and on that sign was actually The inscription: Rat crossing the street, everyone shouts to beat it!
Purple-red clouds fill the entire sky, and there is also a blood-like sunset. Such a beautiful picture indeed shows the calmness of the sunset red which is the most beautiful thing. The feeling is so warm that it makes people intoxicated, and it is so warm that it makes people obsessed with it.
The sky no longer has the beautiful blue, nor the verifying purple.
The ruthless night has really come. It swallows up the whole world, leaving no one with a chance to wake up. The night has fallen.
I hate this kind of short-term warmth, but it is so beautiful that people can’t help but be in it, and then it leaves in a hurry, making people feel lost.
What I like is eternity, so I love the blue sky even more.
My biggest hobby is to sit at the desk and look at the blue sky and white clouds in ecstasy. Suddenly a hint of inspiration comes across, so I brew a cup of strong coffee and start creating. Think this is the most beautiful moment.
But beautiful moments are always short-lived, because black will occupy blue, and it will take a long time for blue to appear again. But I firmly believe that the night is the carrier of knowledge and the sky will always be with you.
I am extremely happy during the day and don’t want the sky to see my pain; when I feel wronged, I secretly shed tears under the cover of the night and tell myself firmly that TOMORROM IS ANOTHER DAY.
We live in a city under the sky, but we stubbornly believe that the sky has given us everything.
And how can we not love the blue sky?
I want to have a pair of wings and fly to the end of the sky.
When he arrives, he will say:
How nice it would be if the sky were bluer!
