An Introduction to the Translation of Huainanzi
Written in Lie Hong in Huainan and Xu Shen in Eastern Han Dynasty. Twenty-one volumes, tied with Gaoyou's Huai Nan Zi Zhu as the most classic Huai Nan Zi Zhu. In the existing version of Huai Nan Zi Zhu, Xu Hegao has been confused. Among them, Xu Shen annotated eight volumes, such as Miao Chengxun, Su Qixun, Tao Yingxun, Yan Yanxun, Soldiers' Brief Training, Ren Ren Training, Mao Zuxun and Yaolue. The remaining 13 volumes are mainly annotated by Gaoyou and Xu Shen. Due to the complete loss of Xu Zhu, many scholars have done relevant compilation work since the Qing Dynasty, including Tao Fangqi's Similarities and Differences of Huainan Xu Zhu, Huainan Supplementary Note, Sun Fengyi's Xu Shen's Huainan Zi Zhu, Yi Shunding's Huainan Xu Zhu and Tan Xian's Huainan Zi Zhu.
