The working principle of the screw squeeze dewatering machine:
1. Rotary filtration: After the sludge is flocculated by the flocculant, it forms flocs of a certain strength, containing a large amount of solid-liquid free water. The mixture enters the rotary filter through the overflow port of the vertical reactor. The sludge moves forward driven by the spiral shaft blades. It is dehydrated freely due to gravity. The drum rotates in the opposite direction to the spiral, causing the sludge to continuously roll in the drum. The free water inside the floc is continuously filtered out, and the concentrated sludge is pushed through the spiral blade to the middle outlet and enters the next level of dehydration process.
2. Screw extrusion: After the pre-dehydrated sludge enters the screw extruder through the feed hopper, the sludge causes the liquid to increase in volume under the action of the tapered screw shaft and the reducing screw. Compression, so that the moisture in the liquid material is quickly separated through the porous filter cartridge, and the moisture content of the solid material gradually decreases under the action of continuous compression to become the filter cake we need, and finally it is discharged from the machine under the conveying action of the spiral outside.
Use of screw extrusion dehydrator:
For example, dehydration of distiller’s grains, fruit pomace, medicine residue, cassava residue, etc. can greatly reduce the burden on the dryer, greatly increase the output, and reduce energy consumption. It is greatly reduced and is an indispensable processing equipment before drying high-humidity materials. The dehydrated materials can directly enter the drying equipment.
