He has published more than 1 papers successively, and won the honorary badge and certificate of the Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, the special honor award of China Ordnance Industry Corporation and the honorary title of "China Contemporary Inventor" awarded by China Invention Association. After retiring, he successfully developed a "safe automatic dry powder fire extinguisher" and won the national invention patent, which was appraised at the provincial level, tested by the state and approved by the Ministry of Public Security. After retiring, he continued to make contributions in China. He was awarded as an outstanding scientific and technological worker of China Old Association for Science and Technology. In 1993, he attended the national commendation meeting held by China Old Association for Science and Technology, and was engaged in the research and design of the patent for the utility model of "forest and oil field fire-fighting bomb" (patent number ZL96243469．8).
