To write a patent, you need to cite documents. How to cite them?

Patent application documents generally need to describe the current situation of the existing technology in the "background technology" part, point out the existing technical problems, and put forward the purpose of the invention on this basis, so it is generally necessary to quote documents when writing this part, and of course it is not excluded to quote in other parts.

If you cite a document in a patent document, write the cited document directly in the text. If it is a patent document, just write the patent application number or WeChat official account directly, and pay attention to the country and public type code; If it is a non-patent document, the title, author, publication name, publication date, publication page number, etc. should generally be stated. In principle, it can be retrieved directly, and some contents can be placed in brackets, but all contents can be placed directly in the text without footnotes or endnotes.
