3. Joint application: A design application can include at most 100 designs, but these designs must be suitable for at least one same commodity category.

5. If the application for a design is filed within 6 months after the design is first exhibited in the exhibition, you can claim the priority of the first exhibition.
6. A party who has no habitual residence or business office in Germany needs to hire a German lawyer or patent agent as an agent.
7. An existing design refers to a design that is known to the public in any way before the date of application. It still belongs to the existing design with only insignificant details difference from the design before the application date, but the novelty judgment of the design will not be affected if the applicant discloses it by himself within 12 months before the application date.
8. The parties concerned can also obtain German registered design through the same design application or international design application.
9. The parties may apply for an extension of the publication of the design expression for no more than 30 months, and only need to submit two-dimensional samples (non-design expressions). During the extension period, the protection period of the design is only 30 months, and the protection is limited to unauthorized copying of the design. During this period, both parties can decide whether to extend the protection period to 5 years from the date of application. After paying the renewal fee and supplementing the design expression, the registered design will be registered in.
10. The design published in Germany can automatically get the protection of the same design that has not been registered in the EU for three years, and the protection is limited to unauthorized copying.
