Qualifications and responsibilities of financial personnel in patent charging procedures of China National Intellectual Property Administration Patent Office Agency.

An agency shall have at least two accountants (at least one accountant and one cashier). Accounting personnel must hold the qualification certificate of accounting practice, the qualification certificate of primary accounting computerization and the "post certificate" trained by China National Intellectual Property Administration Patent Office (hereinafter referred to as the Patent Office), and file them in the preliminary examination and process management department of the Patent Office.

The division of responsibilities of financial personnel should comply with the relevant provisions of national financial management, and their duties include: collection of patent fees, collection, proofreading and transmission of materials, examination and reconciliation of accounts, correction and adjustment of subjects, binding and custody of accounting vouchers, custody of general ledger and subsidiary ledger, and work entrusted by the Patent Office related to the collection of patent fees.
