We have never looked forward to domestic software and hardware so much. Fortunately, various breakthroughs followed one after another, and now we finally have our own memory.
On the official website of Changxin Memory, it has publicly listed its own DDR4 memory chips, DDR4 memory modules, and LPDDR4X memory chips, all of which comply with internationally accepted standards.
According to reports, Changxin DDR4 memory chips can meet the needs of the mainstream market, support multi-field applications and multi-product combinations, and have sufficient reliability guarantees. In terms of specifications, a single chip has a capacity of 8Gb (1GB) and a frequency of 2666MHz. , voltage 1.2V, operating temperature 0℃ to 95℃, two package styles: 78ball and 96ball FBGA.
According to previous news, these chips are manufactured using the first-generation domestic 10nm-level process, and the monthly production capacity is expected to reach 40,000 wafers by the end of 2020.
DDR4 memory sticks are also independently developed and designed by Changxin. They are equipped with original chips and come in a complete range. They provide UDIMM desktop type and SO-DIMM notebook type. The capacity is a single 8GB, the frequency is 2666MHz, the voltage is 1.2V, and the working voltage is 1.2V. Temperature 0℃ to 95℃.
LPDDR4X memory chips claim to meet mainstream needs, have both high speed and low power consumption, and can provide ultra-high battery life, ultra-low power consumption design, and stable and smooth experience. In terms of specifications, the single capacity is 2GB, 4GB, and the frequency 3733MHz, voltage 1.8V, 1.1V, 0.6V, operating temperature -30℃ to 85℃, 200ball FBGA package.
At present, Changxin has begun to receive technical and sales consultation on the above products, and it is believed that they will appear on the market soon.
Changxin Memory was launched in Hefei, Anhui Province in May 2016, with a total investment of 150 billion yuan. It specializes in the research and development, production and sales of DRAM memory. It has currently built the first 300mm wafer fab and put it into production. And through rapid iterative research and development through a dedicated R&D line, combined with current advanced equipment to significantly improve the process, a unique technical system has been developed.
Just at the end of last year, Changxin Memory obtained a license to implement a large number of DRAM technology patents from Polaris, and these patents came from the patent portfolio that Polaris purchased from Infineon, the parent company of Qimonda, in June 2015. .
