Introduction of Chifeng College:
Chifeng University, referred to as "Chi Yuan" for short, is a multi-disciplinary and comprehensive undergraduate institution approved by the Ministry of Education, selected as the pilot of comprehensive reform in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and is the governing unit of China Entrepreneurship Education Alliance of UNESCO.
Chifeng College was established on April 6, 2003 with the approval of the Ministry of Education. It was formed by the merger of Chifeng Teachers College for Nationalities, Chifeng Education College and Chifeng Branch of Inner Mongolia Radio and TV University, and at the same time, it was merged into some resources of Chifeng Health School and Inner Mongolia Kindergarten Normal School. College was born in Chifeng City, the birthplace of the world-famous "Hongshan Culture".
As of April 2020, the school has a total area of 935 mu and a building area of 270,000 square meters. There are 43 colleges and universities in the school, including two master's degree awarding points in cultural relics, museums and education, 58 undergraduate majors and some higher vocational colleges. Full-time students 13243, including undergraduates 1 1927, junior college students 1 144 graduate students.
Chifeng College has a strong faculty. By April 2020, there were 99 full-time teachers 1 person, including 389 full-time teachers, 39 master tutor, 65,438 full-time teachers with doctoral degrees and 494 master tutor. There are 4 teachers who enjoy the special allowance of the State Council, China master of arts and crafts 1 person, 2 young and middle-aged experts with outstanding contributions in the autonomous region, 6 candidates for the grassland talent project in the autonomous region, and 6 candidates for the first and second level of the "32 1" talent project in the autonomous region, "1".
The school has 23 teaching institutions, offering 55 undergraduate majors and some higher vocational majors, and has three affiliated units: affiliated hospital, affiliated second hospital and affiliated middle school.
Special history is the key training discipline in the autonomous region, and history major is the construction point of national specialty. Nine majors, such as computer science and technology, mathematics education, biological science, Mongolian language and literature (undergraduate and junior college), physics and nursing, are brand majors at the autonomous region level, and Mongolian rhetoric, prosthodontics and electromagnetism 14 courses are top-quality courses at the autonomous region level.
Official website, Chifeng University, October-June, August showed that the teachers of the university presided over 645 scientific research projects, including 35 projects supported by the National Natural Science and Social Science Foundation and 345 projects at the provincial and ministerial levels. 303 scientific and technological achievements won national, autonomous regional and municipal awards. 8865 academic papers were published, including national core journal 105 1, three international retrieval systems 27 1, 78 patents and 664 academic monographs, textbooks, translations and reference books.
Chifeng College cooperates with Cottbridge College in the United Kingdom, and jointly offers the specialty of nursing (oral nursing) at the specialist level, with a three-year academic system. Cottbridge College has the best oral care specialty in Britain and is the designer of oral care standards in Britain and India. This project is the first Sino-foreign cooperative education project for oral nursing specialty in China. The school and Cottbridge College have jointly worked out a teaching plan, and some courses are taught by teachers from cooperative colleges. Chinese and English schools teach at the same time, using the same textbooks. Students can also study or practice in the UK for a short time while studying in China (the fees for study and practice should be paid separately to Cottbridge College in the UK). Students who have completed their studies in Chifeng College will receive the graduation certificate of Chifeng College. After graduation, they can go to Britain to study nursing or public health/health, and get a bachelor's degree within one year.
The school library has a collection of 165438+ 10,000 volumes, 8273.9GB of e-books and 9 comprehensive full-text databases. It is a member library of China Higher Education Document Guarantee System (CALIS) and China University Humanities and Social Sciences Library.
