Do you know what are the mainstream glasses 3D technologies?
In glasses 3D technology, we can divide it into three main types: chromatic aberration, passive polarization and active shutter, which are commonly called color separation, light splitting and time division.
Color difference 3D technology
Color difference 3D technology, Anaglyphic 3D in English, used with passive red-blue (or red-green, red-cyan) color filter 3D glasses. This technology has the longest history, simple imaging principle and low implementation cost. The cost of glasses is only a few dollars, but the 3D picture effect is also the worst. Color difference 3D firstly separates the spectral information by rotating the filter wheel, and filters the picture with different colors, so that one picture produces two images, and each eye can see different images. This method is easy to cause color cast at the edge of the picture.
Color difference 3D technology has not been widely used because of its poor effect.
Passive polarization 3D technology
Polarized 3D technology is also called polarized 3D technology, which is polarized 3D in English. Passive polarized glasses are used together. Polarized 3D technology has better image effect than color difference technology, and the cost of glasses is not too high. At present, many cinemas adopt this technology, but it requires higher brightness of display equipment.
Polarization 3D uses the principle that light has "vibration direction" to decompose the original image. Firstly, an image is divided into odd lines and even lines, and then the odd lines and even lines are transmitted through a 4/ 1 polarizing film by left-handed circularly polarized light and right-handed circularly polarized light respectively. Then, the left and right sides of 3D glasses adopt polarized lenses with different polarization rotation directions, so that people's left and right eyes receive two sets of interlaced images, and then a stereoscopic image is synthesized through the brain.
At present, polarized 3D systems are divided into time-varying polarization and split polarization. RealD 3D is the mainstream technology in the film market, which eliminates the disadvantages that ordinary beam-splitting polarization technology leads to the reduction of 2D picture definition (black stripe phenomenon of PR film) and the interlaced display of 3D picture effect can only reach half the height of 1080 line. Full HD image quality is perfectly presented by polarization. However, this technology has not been used in TV products on the market, only in cinemas. The polarized products sold in the market are all spectral polarized products, and there are some defects in image clarity and 3D effect.
At present, brands such as LG, Konka, TCL, Hisense, Skyworth and so on all have products that adopt splitting and polarizing 3D technology.
Advantages: convenient to wear and low cost of glasses.
Disadvantages: pasting polarizing film requires high backlight brightness to ensure realistic 3D pictures, which increases the power consumption of TV;
2D image quality loss (black stripe phenomenon of PR film);
The interlaced display resolution of 3D images is halved, and 3D 1080P movies only play 540p.
There are strict restrictions on the sight distance before and after, and there are ghosts below 2 meters before and after the picture. Up and down 10 degrees or less. Over 70 degrees left and right, the 3D effect drops sharply.
Active shutter 3d
Shutter 3D technology, English active shutter 3D, used with active shutter 3D glasses. This 3D technology is widely used in televisions and projectors, with relatively more resources and excellent image effects. It is highly praised and adopted by many manufacturers, but the matching 3D glasses are expensive.
Shutter 3D mainly realizes 3D effect by improving the refresh rate of the picture. By dividing the image into two groups according to the frame, two groups of pictures corresponding to the left eye and the right eye are formed and displayed alternately. At the same time, the infrared or Bluetooth signal transmitter will synchronously control the left and right lens switches of shutter 3D glasses, so that the left and right eyes can see the corresponding pictures at the right time. This technology can maintain the original resolution of the picture, and users can easily enjoy the real full HD 3D effect without reducing the brightness of the picture.
Under normal circumstances, the screen refresh frequency of 3D LCD TV is above 120Hz, that is, the frequency of images received by left and right eyes is above 60Hz, so as to ensure that users can see continuous 3D images without blinking.
At present, 3D TVs launched by Samsung, TCL, Panasonic, Sony, Haier, Sharp, Hisense, Changhong and other brands all adopt active shutter 3D technology.
Advantages: there is no need to stick a 3D polarizing film to prevent the loss of 2D pictures and 3D pictures. (black stripe phenomenon of PR film)
No need to increase backlight brightness, low carbon and low power consumption.
The viewing angle is not limited, and you can look at it from any angle. When viewed from different angles, the loss of 3D effect is small.
Disadvantages:
1, there will be brightness attenuation after wearing glasses;
2. Shutter-type 3D glasses will flicker slightly when looking directly at light sources such as electric lights due to the opening and closing phenomenon of shutter technology, but will not flicker when watching 3D images;
3. Shutter-type 3D glasses are relatively expensive and need power supply because of the support of control chip and LCD to realize 3D effect.
3D technology comparison
There is no detection mechanism to detect radiation at all, it is parrot-learned. If it is a normal home improvement environment, it is impossible to feel the flicker, which itself is the result of unreasonable light source arrangement in the store. If you want to pursue 3d effect, buy shutter glasses, light color. If there is a little bit of 3d meaning, use polarized light, personal hobby.
