Brief introduction of Philadelphia Oriental State Prison

Philadelphia Oriental State Prison, built at 1829, opened at 19 13, and closed at 1970. It has a castle-like wall and a spectacular guard tower, and it is also the first prison to take solitary confinement measures. The prison was later abandoned because of overcrowding.
