Main research contents: virtual reality technology and algorithm, high dynamic range (HDR) image technology and algorithm, photorealistic image rendering, image acceleration hardware (GPU) application, etc.
The scientific research achievements include: color image processing and system, three-dimensional graphic stunt in multimedia production system, digital image halftone and its application in printing. Among them, many research results have passed the national appraisal, and the research on digital image halftone has achieved good results in industrial application and academic research. Based on the above research work, our laboratory has published nearly ten articles in domestic core journals and one article in international leading academic journals, and obtained five patents.
