If the text of the manual has attached drawings, the manual should be attached with attached drawings. If there are attached drawings in the manual, they should be used to explain the text of the manual.
Where there are drawings in the main body of the specification, but there are no drawings in the specification or the corresponding drawings are missing, the applicant shall be notified to cancel the drawings in the main body of the specification, or submit the corresponding drawings within the specified time limit. Where the applicant submits the appended drawings, the date of submitting or mailing the appended drawings to the Patent Office shall be the filing date, and the examiner shall issue a notice to re-determine the filing date. Where the applicant cancels the corresponding appended drawings, the original application date shall be retained. Instructions shall be numbered with Arabic numerals.

The attached drawings shall be one of the attached drawings in the specification. If the applicant fails to submit the appended drawings, the examiner may notify the applicant to make corrections, or appoint a person ex officio, and notify the applicant. If the examiner confirms that there are no suitable abstract drawings to indicate, he may not require the applicant to make corrections.

If the attached abstract obviously fails to explain the main technical features of the technical scheme of the invention, or the attached abstract is not one of the drawings in the specification, the examiner may notify the applicant to make corrections, or designate a copy ex officio, and notify the applicant.
2. The size and clarity of the attached drawings shall ensure that when the drawings are reduced to 4cm× 6cm, all the details in the drawings can still be clearly distinguished.
3. The abstract can contain the chemical formula that can best explain the invention, and this chemical formula can be regarded as an abstract diagram.
