The major of civil engineering in the School of Architecture and Engineering of Hebei University of Science and Technology was established in 2004, and it was the first batch of undergraduates. Master's degree in structural engineering was awarded in 2006, and master's degree in civil engineering was awarded in 20 10. On 20 14, the authorization point for master's degree in architectural and civil engineering was added, and on 20 19, the authorization point in architectural and civil engineering was adjusted to the category of civil water conservancy. At the same time, the discipline of civil engineering is listed as Hebei 20 19. Facing the strategic needs of the country and the upgrading and transformation of the construction industry, a new experimental class of intelligent building for engineering is set up, and the majors of civil engineering, mechanical design, manufacturing and automation, electronic information and automation are integrated, with 35 students enrolled in 2020. In 2020, civil engineering was rated as a first-class major in Hebei Province. At present, there are 4 17 students majoring in civil engineering, and the annual enrollment scale is about 120 students.
