Midea Group's Refrigerator Division, located in Hefei, China, integrates user research, planning, R&D, manufacturing and marketing to provide users with solutions for the use of refrigerators, freezers, wine cabinets and other products to meet the diversified needs of users. With the help of industry intelligent fresh-keeping technology, a series of intelligent refrigerators have been launched.
Midea Refrigerator Division has set up six manufacturing bases in Hefei, Guangzhou, Foshan, Jingzhou and Bangkok, Thailand, with an annual production capacity of 20 million units. The domestic sales network has 35 product management centers/sales companies, nearly 30,000 retail outlets and more than 2,600 after-sales maintenance outlets. Midea's refrigerators have been checked at all levels in terms of quality control of incoming materials, process and delivery, and obtained more than 20 system test certificates.
R&D background
The National Enterprise Technology R&D Center established by Midea Refrigerator Division has more than 800 professional R&D teams, including international experts 15 and nearly 100 international personnel, with more than 50% master's and doctoral degrees. An artificial intelligence center has been established in Silicon Valley, USA. There are 96 laboratories, 14 laboratories certified by Chinese national standards, as well as preservation research and testing centers and postdoctoral mobile workstations, which are used for the research and application of core fields such as nutrition, freshness, hygiene and deliciousness of ingredients.
Midea refrigerator has won five China patent awards and two Anhui invention patent gold awards, with a total of 9,384 patents, including 4,093 invention patents. It is the first batch of enterprises applying for more than 1,000 patents, national intellectual property demonstration enterprises and national intellectual property operation pilot enterprises in Anhui Province.
