How to apply for patents involving national defense secrets?

According to Article 8 of the Detailed Rules for the Implementation of the Patent Law, if an application for a patent for invention involves national defense secrets and needs to be kept confidential, it shall be accepted by the Patent Office of the Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense (Tel: 010-6635 * *); Accepted by the China National Intellectual Property Administration Patent Office, submitted to the national defense patent agency for examination and approval, and notify the applicant. Attachment: Contact: 0 10-66357*** After China National Intellectual Property Administration accepts an application for a patent for invention, it will forward the application requiring confidentiality review to the relevant authorities in the State Council for review. The relevant competent authorities shall notify China National Intellectual Property Administration of the review results within 4 months from the date of receiving the application for review. Where confidentiality is required, China National Intellectual Property Administration shall handle it in accordance with the confidential patent application and notify the applicant.
