acceptance phase
After an enterprise submits a patent application, the Patent Office examines the patent application to determine whether it meets the acceptance conditions.
Preliminary examination stage
The contents of the review mainly include whether it meets the requirements of relevant laws and regulations, whether the application documents are complete and whether the format meets the requirements.
Publishing stage
The application for a patent for invention has entered the publication stage since the issuance of the notice of preliminary examination. After the public preparation, part of the contents of the patent will be published in the patent bulletin. After the application is published, the applicant has the right to temporary protection.
Substantive review stage
In the actual trial process, the novelty, creativity and practicality of the patent application and other substantive conditions stipulated in the patent law will be comprehensively reviewed.
Authorization stage
If the application for a patent for invention is rejected after substantive examination, the examiner shall issue a notice of authorization and apply for authorization registration. After the patent authorization is clear, the Patent Office will issue the authorization notice and registration notice. If the applicant goes through the registration formalities in accordance with the requirements of the notice and pays the prescribed fees, the Patent Office will grant the patent right and issue a patent certificate.
