Chery dual-motor gearbox patent

In a recent article about Chery's hybrid planning, the author casually said that Chery planned to produce its own DHT transmission, but now it has officially changed from rumor to affirmation. In the latest bidding information, Chery Ektek Powertrain Co., Ltd. finally couldn't help it, jumped directly to the front end and won the DHT production line planning. Of course, the word "powertrain" itself covers the engine and transmission system, and Ektek does not have too many problems. It's just that you may be familiar with Chery engines, which are included in Ektek Powertrain Co., Ltd. Yes, we are talking about well-known engines, such as 1.6TGDI and the upcoming 2.0TGDI, which also belong to Ektek.

In fact, in the product sequence of Ektek, the main products are engines (0.6L to 2.0L) and gearboxes (MT, AT and CVT), but Chery had Seiki before, and of course many things ended up in Wan Liyang. However, judging from the EIA information of this project, the previously revealed information that Chery will build its own gearbox factory is quite reliable. In fact, the information of the manufacturing project of DHT hybrid gearbox was mentioned in the news of 49 key projects released by Wuhu municipal government last month, but only the investment of 2 billion yuan was mentioned at that time, and it was not clear who would take the lead. Now the answer is naturally that the dust has settled.

For DHT transmission, it is one of Chery's strategic models in the future, and its application range is quite wide. As mentioned in the official introduction, the hybrid special gearbox supports nine working modes, such as pure electric drive, extended range mode drive, parallel mode drive and engine direct drive, and has three power sources, which can be driven in two different gears respectively. It can form a combined gear of 10 (more precisely, the new information is the speed ratio of dual motors and 3rd gear 1 1 group), and the maximum input torque is 510n m, which can be applied to pure electric, hybrid, extended range and plug-in hybrid vehicles, so it can be said that it covers all modes of new energy vehicles. Even Chery, a DCT transmission, plans to introduce Getrag to Wuhu to build a factory (it is not clear whether it is a sole proprietorship or a joint venture, but the word introduced is probably a joint venture model).

I can hardly see T 1D up to now. The appearance of PHEV test vehicle may be closely related to the change of transmission production line. Previously, the owner of the road test was shot by Wan Liyang, and it was predicted that Wan Liyang would directly mass-produce DHT. Now it seems that this plan is likely to fail, and the suspension of the test vehicle itself is an obvious signal. Judging from the EIA information, I am afraid that even the transition period previously judged does not exist.

As for the model itself, all the highlights are in the chassis. In addition to the lower battery pack, the biggest highlight is that the entire rear suspension has been replaced by an aluminum alloy suspension. In addition, the four-wheel drive system has also appeared, which is equivalent to the information mentioned in the new 1.6TGDI hybrid special engine (DHE) and hybrid special gearbox (DHT) released by Chery at the World New Energy Vehicle Conference (WNEVC). The information introduced at that time mentioned that the hybrid system was assembled with a four-wheel drive large SUV, which was exactly the same as the real vehicle of this road test. As for the time when the real car will go on the market, it's really hard to draw a conclusion. It was previously revealed that it was 20021year, but the change of transmission production line made the whole plan confusing, so I won't make any speculation here, and I will wait patiently for more official information.
