Generally speaking, few computers are not equipped with optical drives, otherwise it will be very troublesome to install the system. As for the slogan shouted by some Rightists that the CD is enough, it is tantamount to a frog in the well. Nowadays, piracy in big cities is basically DVD (as are data files), so it is better not to buy CD-ROM.
First of all, CDs are relatively low-tech products, and few of them are made by themselves. The CDs of big factories are generally contracted by people. You can know your products by looking at the OEM. Some people don't quite believe that Foxconn's motherboard can be compared with ASUS's motherboard. Of course not. The motherboard is technical. Asus and the like do design, make their own design drawings, and ask for their own components. OEM is just an assembly role. Even so, the requirements for quality control are very high. Therefore, I agree that it is naive for the motherboard industry to look at OEM (not to mention domestic OEM), but for such an ordinary thing as optical drive, what more is required? Then someone asked, will it be like LCD monitors, "OEM" (panel manufacturers are more accurate), often changing. Optical drive is not as ups and downs as LCD panel, even if it is replaced, more rigorous manufacturers will change models. In addition, there are rumors that the quality of different OEM brands produced by the same assembly line is different, which is actually sour grapes. Good brands are superstitious brands, and bad brands are brands they don't believe in. At least, this rookie-level "knowledge" has existed since the CD-ROM drive era. Unfortunately, there is no evidence at present. It is credible that the OEM quality is exactly the same, because there are countless pictures disassembled online, so you can observe them in the details.
There are many brands of CD-ROMs. Take the well-known example. Personally, there is little difference between optical drives. The reading ability and life span are not as good as those of the previous era, but the price is also in front of me. There is nothing to say, so I suggest that the CD-ROM drive be forgotten a little. Taipower, Samsung, LG, BenQ, Pioneer (note that I love my country, this article is only a technical article) are not much different. Some people bought it for a month and then died, while others used it for two years, so don't worry about it. Moreover, the optical drive should not covet the disc reading ability and long life, which is king. It's not a big problem that you can't watch the film stalls, and the poor quality of cam-is also the reason. However, at the critical moment, even the carved XP installation disk can't be installed, which is troublesome. Of course, the life of the CD-ROM drive is also related to the use method and frequency, environment, hardware power supply, whether it is fake or not, and return. The luck factor is really great. By the way, because the maximum is only 16X, there is not much difference in the speed of the CD-ROM drive, and the probability of disk explosion is not great. However, for the sake of sales, many manufacturers' optical drives gave birth to the "king of disc reading", often sacrificing their lives, because the quality of disc reading is basically bald, and the same bald head (such as Sanyo, Pioneer and Philips), in order to improve disc reading, it is very bad to dynamically increase the power of the bald head, which is inherently fragile, so usually the better the disc reading ability, the faster the disc hanging time. By the way, there is also a no-sale area, which is a good thing. Optical drives sold to developed countries are basically locked (RPC-II regulations). Besides, the author hasn't bought a disc that needs to be changed for several years now, so it doesn't matter. In short, the CD-ROM drive didn't make much difference at first. Secondly, the ability to read the disk didn't even have a reaction. Thirdly, it was boring to care about the lock area.
Now let me talk about some of the most famous ordinary optical drives:
1. pioneer, pioneer's optical drive used to be very good or even the best, such as the most famous 12 1SA (it was discontinued a long time ago, and even now it is mostly returned). I remember that when I bought it, it was more than 400 yuan, and the price was more than half that of my peers. Suction cups are also cute, but they are all very good except for the extremely slow disc recognition speed and poor disc compatibility (note 12 1 times of life). Later, due to the price reduction of DVD, profits plummeted. So there is a pioneer's big price reduction. Unfortunately, many experts are so nostalgic that they always emphasize pioneer DVD on the distribution list. At present, several successor models of Pioneer, such as 122 and 123, have changed their control chips from Panasonic (MN 103S7 1) to Ali and MTK (MT 1355PE of MediaTek) in order to reduce the price. Note: Since optical heads don't need to take into account technologies such as lenses, the optical heads of Sanyo and Pioneer are generally similar (as are low-end recorders), so the role of the main control chip is as important as that of the motherboard. Of course, the medium quality of Pioneer CD-ROM drive is still ok and passable. After all, it is not as hard as Sony's family background and face, but the price is too harsh. I think DIYer, who is used to being a pioneer, can properly consider changing his taste (people with computers are generally used to some kind of optical drive). Now the pioneer has no advantage. In the words of a boss, with the name of the pioneer, he can still enter your field of vision. In addition, Pioneer cooperated with Asustek completely from 123 (black DVD- 123D, grayish white 123A, silver 123E), so people who know a little know that Asustek's products are completely pioneer products (see the burner section for complete reasons), but Asustek's optical drive has multiple mute functions (. The most important thing is that ASUS's service is better, at least better than Pioneer. Generally, people with backgrounds, such as BenQ, lg, Samsung and ASUS, have good channels and services (relatively speaking, at least Bisogni and Pioneer are better, but much better than people like NEC).
2. Sony's optical drive has a bad reputation in the mainland market. I'm not biased. Its DDU 162X and 163X are all made by BTC (the OEM of optical drive has no strength, and there is no classic product, the spokesman of LJ). In addition to the beautiful appearance and strong channel ability of the agent 7-up, it is a pity that the first reading is very strong. Recently, it is said that XD is the king of disc reading adapted to China's national conditions, but Sony 16 15, which has been discontinued for a long time, is good, and Lite-ON (Lite-On) is an OEM. This is the quality of Sony. Of course, when we say Pioneer and Sony, we don't mean that they can't do anything, but we are mainly dissatisfied with the low absolute profit. For example, Pioneer produces its own laser head, which is a big manufacturer of optical drives (now entrusted to ASUS). Its own bald head is very good, but it often doesn't need its own things. Obviously, I feel that my things are expensive and not worth the loss. Things are good, but many people don't know it is good, but they can't sell it and lose the market. Price and quality have always been enemies, especially in low-cost and low-tech China. Pioneer has done this several times before, and won every time. Why 12 1 is so impressive up to now is because 120 is really LJ, and just to reduce the cost, it uses the worst main control chip in Taiwan Province Province, which makes it the bottom in disk reading, noise and heating. To save face, I made a 12 1, using my own third-generation laser head and Panasonic's master control. They are all good things, and they are highly sought after, with low profits, especially when the price of optical drives dropped last year, so I made a 12 1 face to advocate short body. The main control chip is cheaper than before. However, the worst and strangest Japanese optical drive is Sony, which invented the optical drive and the optical drive together with Philips. Just look at the high-end optical drive. It's a pity that Sony is the most active in development, and found a foundry in production (mainly collecting royalties). In order to maximize profits and reduce costs, the measures taken are nothing more than sacrificing quality to grab the market. This is not uncommon in China. The products that cannot be sold by backward products are sold to China for global quality control. Sony is even more so. Getting a BTC thing is harmful to people, but it is good for our country to build a factory, XD.
3. BenQ, in the field of optics and magnetism in Chinese mainland, BenQ is a heavyweight with a very large output. There are many manufacturers who do OEM work for others. Is the quality average? There are good and bad. It's a golden mean, and you won't lose money if you buy it. At least support domestic products (who means there are many angry youths in China). The new product 1650v series has good reading ability and noise control, and its service life is still known. The disadvantage is that many people with unhealthy thoughts in China prefer domestic products to foreign products (that is, they look down on domestic products and worship foreign brands, which is easy to lose their temper). I don't think this is objective. The stupid ball has only been in storage for a few years, and the product has made great progress. At the beginning, his products were really not so good. At least I've tried to buy crocodiles or something, but the products have a good grade recently. In fact, everyone will know by watching the CD -R of Silly Ball, which used to be very inconspicuous. In addition, it is also true that current DVD drives are usually relatively streamlined. In short, the stupid ball is ok, the quality is the same as Pioneer/Asus, and it is worth buying. Of course, it's not much better. The main control chip of Ali M572 1D is only of ordinary quality, and the price is there. It is very convenient to buy. By the way, attach a stupid ball CD-ROM (not a burner) attack trilogy:
1. There are many people who are popular. The quality of his CD-ROM drive has been analyzed before, and it is only mainstream, with large output and shallow initial experience. However, the CD-ROM drive itself is good or bad, with great individual differences, and it is often attacked.
2. Because it is made in China (although many top foreign brands are also made in China), Benqiu, which is made in China, is definitely poor, and Benqiu is not a famous brand, so once it is broken, it will be full of grievances, swearing, eloquent, tearful, and torn to pieces in batches. On the other hand, if it's LJSony, it's silence and guilt (Nissan is definitely good, but occasionally it may be personal).
3. Wave after wave of criticism makes novices have to buy pioneer 123 or even Sony 1632, which wastes money.
4.Lite -On Lite-on Lite-on Lite-on as an optical drive manufacturer in Taiwan Province, Bao Dao (note that Lite -On does not mean that Lite-on is the source of registered trademarks in Chinese mainland), its technical strength is very good, and its popularity in professional forums is second only to Puckett. Generally speaking, people who know a little about optical drives like Lite-on, which is cheap and works well. Many big factories are looking for it to do OEM work. It has a good reputation and things are safe. Unfortunately, the advantages of Lite can be said to be above average in all aspects, especially DVD has good support performance for various formats, good disk reading and long service life, but it is a pity that mainland China does not buy much, because many second-tier cities have no sales volume and big cities have insufficient inventory. Specifically, there are currently three models: Jinyinhu 167T (panel color) and 16P9S series. There is not much difference. 107T stopped production due to loud noise (others are fine), but there are many sources. In many places, even only golden foxes are sold. If it is 16P9S, the model is newer, the noise is slightly lower, and other differences are not big, but it is better. Many well-known optical drives, such as Sony 1 15, NEC5800. Because the demand for profit is not as high as that of pioneer, the brand can't be lost (just look at the poor stupid ball), and it is very affordable because of its rich experience and reliable quality, but it is said that it is not always possible to buy genuine products in small places.
5.LG optical drive. Although LG is the world's largest optical storage enterprise (HLDS-Hitachi LG Data Storage Alliance) and occupies a huge OEM market, its sales volume in Chinese mainland is relatively small. I think his CD-ROM drive is ok. It is famous for its durability and balance. The disadvantage is that LG's products are very good, and a few are very poor. Generally speaking, it is good. Many students of the early LG 40X optical drive now use it very well (CRD-840). On the whole, it is worth recommending. Take 8 163B as an example, which is much better than 6 1 and 62, and the reading ability is also good. And like Pioneer 12 1, which stopped production, they all use Panasonic chips. It may be that there are few DVD drives using mid-range master control chips at present, which is very wrong.
6.BTC, MSI, Patriot and Taipower are all of the same quality and are not recommended. I heard that BTC is the "worst quality". I also think that all products made by BTC are LJ, and it is useless to hang Sony. You had better not buy them. Although Jianji and others are under the banner of Acer, they are poor. General Kim of Samsung (MT 138).
The CD-ROM drive has written so much, which is enough. Now let's talk about the optical drive. The difference between optical drive and technology is too big, so the difference is very big, and the profit of optical drive is too big. Several major manufacturers have their own characteristics and are unambiguous. It seems that they can't save the saliva.
There are not many manufacturers of recorders, and they are very complicated. The most important thing is that they are very easy to buy wrong, and there are many differences between different departments. Let's talk about misleading technical problems first. Many people buy tape recorders not for use, but purely to see "technology."
Let me briefly talk about the history of DVD. Previously, DVD was composed of ten companies: Hitachi, Panasonic, Mitsubishi, Philips, Pioneer, Sony, Thomson, time warner Inc., Toshiba and JVC. Now it is the steering committee of DVD forum (this forum is only an industry organization, not a real online forum). Although several companies joined later, they are the core ones who can collect patent fees. After the development of DVD-ROM (that is, ordinary DVD discs, not burned discs), DVD-RAM was introduced and split internally. Sony and Philips still adhere to their own beliefs and independently developed their own DVD burning specifications, thus establishing an opposing DVD alliance (also an organization) with HP. Later, Mitsubishi Chemical/Weibao, Ricoh, Yamaha, Dell and Thomson all joined. The main technical veteran is Sony/Philips, the old partner who co-invented CD, and has joined hands with many disc manufacturers. They invented DVD +R +RW +R DL. At present, the DVD Alliance has about 60 members. The original DVD forum now has more than 200 members, but the role of members is not great, just a lie. The specific manufacturers are:
DVD-RAM was jointly developed by Panasonic, Hitachi and Toshiba, while DVD-R/RW was developed by Pioneer Corporation of Japan and +R/RW was developed by Philips.
Unfortunately, as far as the technology and market share of civil disc burning are concerned, there is little technical difference between DVD forum +R and -R (+R is slightly improved because it is late), and the market is seven to three (+R is more popular), which is basically+on RW and DL. +Thanks to the development of booktype, the poor support of+series optical drives has been completely reversed. Booktype technology can identify any CD of+as DVD -rom, that is, ordinary DVD film, instead of burning CD. Therefore, unless the optical head of DVD drive is aging, it should support all burning discs of+. For example, since DL (Double-Layer Burning Disc) was introduced late, even though many of our own optical drives don't recognize -R DL, +R DL has absolute advantages, and so does RW. Moreover, the maximum fault tolerance of +RW can reach 5 12M, and the life and reliability of the disc are much better than that of -RW (although the recognition of -RW is good, it is also used by a few people), even higher than that of 100M of RAM. I'm not here to judge the pros and cons of+-. In fact, the price is king in the ordinary +-R, and whether the booktype is supported in the shopping guide of the optical drive is an essential item for detailed evaluation abroad. If your CD is only used for backup, you can only use DVD R (-R support, +R is only supported by older DVD drives), regardless of whether it can be read on other computers or not, or if RW is not involved, so you don't have to worry about it. However, if compatibility is to be considered, that is, it can be read on other people's computers, especially erasable RW and double-layer DL, then booktype must be considered, because RW generally buys more +RW (the reason has been explained earlier). Specifically, there are three types of booktype: +R, +RW and +R DL. In addition to +R DL, Japanese manufacturers under the DVD forum generally support incompletely. Of course, if you use unofficial cracked firmware, it is definitely an exception. This also shows that whether or not to support booktype is not a technical issue, but a matter of interest for DVD forum members. Philips, Sony and Taiwan Province Province (MTK) are much more supportive. Although you can burn the +R/RW series for the ones that don't support the booktype at present, you should be cautious when considering the reading of other machines, because many old DVD drives (with a large number in China) are not easy to recognize, especially +RW and above.
By the way, although the recorder is not very mature at present, there is no problem with DVD +R and -R, but RW and DL are still in progress. But more than 80% and 90% of the players carved +-R, nearly 10% of the users carved RW, and the rest of the Mimi was used as RAW and DL (by the way, DL is also called d 9 to burn CDs). DL may still have some prospects, but RAM is really unnecessary, embellish it. First of all, the advertising selling point is "mobile CD". Since it is mobile, at least it can be seen elsewhere. It's a pity that most CDs (even many CDs out now) basically don't support it (even a few of them don't support it at a satisfactory speed), so it's more practical to dream. Secondly, "1 000 erasure" is very attractive, but it is actually based on good protection and high-grade workmanship. In fact, the excellent RAM standard is packed in a box like a floppy disk, which is very different from those streaking (think about the streaking of floppy disks). Moreover, this is a theoretical value. In fact, low-grade RAM disks are really ordinary (including some Japanese disks) and can't stand tossing. Finally, the price factor, high-grade, decent RAM hundreds, is not as cost-effective as mobile hard disk. Of course, I made two points: 1. RAM is not unnecessary, and many large enterprises use it for network dump. Secondly, due to the progress of chips, many recorders have RAM function, so forget it. I'm just saying that whether RAM is available or not is not a factor worth considering. In other words, if the new recorder is only improved on the DL RW compared with the old one, the chip has not changed much (just step by step), and the price difference is actually more than 30 yuan, I think the decision is easy. By the way, take the current DVD +R and -R as examples. Since DVD+R and -R are mature and 16X is basically capped, it will not be improved (except PX). Therefore, only the speed of +RW and +R DL is really worthy of attention by a few people in the future. Other RAM and -R DL are just flower heads, and full compatibility is meaningless. What is the relationship between a disc that will not be used for a lifetime and incompatibility?
I want to talk about the origin. We often see people fighting over the origin. In fact, Malaysia is not even very good at Nissan. Everything needs experience. Malaysia is not necessarily better than us, especially in terms of equipment and staff. However, domestic factories are generally arranged in recent years, and experience is inevitably insufficient. Malaysia is more experienced than us. The quality and management of employees in Japan are really much better, and there are no technical barriers. Of course, they are quick to use, relatively good, but unfortunately expensive. Besides, the low-end more than 400 recorders, Japan can't afford the cost, and they have all moved away. As for tampering, there seems to be no evidence of this. Recently, China's famous BenQ has gradually made progress and accumulated experience, at least compared with 1620 and 1640, the progress is obvious. Literally, the master and the bald head are not very good (even lj), but they are experienced, so they have a good reputation. Domestic, by the way, it should be said that mainland production is mainly due to experience. Recently, I read an article about the origin of headphones and found that many Nissan and even Malaysia are actually made in China, which hit the right foreign feelings. In international trade law, the place of packaging is the place of origin, so many cunning manufacturers have done something. After the production, they ran around abroad and came back, purely as our punch card (except Nissan's pioneer). In the recorder, even the top-grade products for civilian use, such as px712/716/755/760, are made in China (the design is Japanese), and even Taiwan Province Province (also made in China). Just looking at the place of origin is really immature. On the contrary, foreign forums are all made in China. By the way, a little correction, some manufacturers have several factories corresponding to different sales areas. Generally speaking, Malay is similar to Chinese mainland's (don't believe the story of adopting Japanese original factory standards), but there are also a few manufacturers who do produce in Japan, as if the materials used are better than Malay's (hearsay) and the standards are stricter than domestic ones, but they are generally only sold to Europe and America, and Taiwan Province Province may not be able to buy them.
Finally, talk about the CD evaluation of websites and newspapers. I suggest that unless the evaluation finds any big problems, it is best not to read them, or not to use them as important references. In fact, it is obvious that many people always want to buy CDs for smooth service. Although they are satisfied with the better disc, it should not be too bad. The most important thing about CDs is their service life. Many CDs won't last long. Moreover, to be honest, it is difficult to convince a good machine to get a burning curve from several burning discs. Every burner always has its own disc, but it also has some shortcomings. There are so many kinds of CDs that the evaluation can't reflect anything. For example, it is normal for a burner that is only good at -R to burn well on some +R discs, even if the specific discs are replaced with ring codes, it may be much worse. Moreover, most of the "fair" evaluations have been done, and it is easy to cheat. If anyone objects, in fact, the evaluation of the burner has received a lot of benefits (advertising feedback), which is too dangerous for beginners to read. It's better to go to some professional CD forums to see the popularity and get to know the actual point (instead of stupidly asking which object to buy). The most important thing is, in fact, because of different technologies and batches, the poor recording curve of CD-ROM drive does not mean that it is poor in actual use, while the most important thing of CD-ROM burner is its service life, which can only be proved by time and word of mouth. Those who have not done aging test evaluation, I hope you will do a good job of evaluation. If you are a novice, the more pertinent advice is not to read it, so as not to be preconceived by dirty brands.
By the way, we all know that the manufacturers of recorders are closely related to the manufacturers of optical discs, and some even charge royalties to the manufacturers of optical discs. Therefore, many tape recorders, especially new and old models, often send things, and some are stingy, such as key rings and box cups, which can be bought in Yiwu 1 yuan, which is boring. The most commonly encountered is the bundled disk, such as NMitsubishi 16X DVD-R, which is not bad. Mitsubishi's current price is one more than that of 3 yuan, which can be converted. But be careful that some stores often deduct it, or some manufacturers sell Weibao as Mitsubishi. Although Weibao is a second-tier manufacturer under Mitsubishi, its quality is not the same. Many Weibao are not even as good as Weibao chameleon series contracted with inferior discs. Some discs are even worse, such as low-end Ryder, MCC and nature films, which are all ok. Some manufacturers even send the aforementioned, meaningless, -R DL, RAM and so on. Nobody bought these CDs. Under pressure, disc manufacturers will produce some, which are purely tied to the recorder and stored in stock (guessing that the internal price must be very cheap). In a word, it is chicken ribs: it seems that the disc is also worth some money. In fact, where to use them? So I suggest you simply ignore this kind of disc.
By the way, children nowadays are very ignorant. They always say that Blu-ray (BD) and HD are coming, and it is meaningless for DVD to be eliminated. In fact, unlike DVD, BD and HD camps were completely separated from each other from the beginning. Theoretically, the cost of optical drives supporting BD and HD is not low, and the integration of the two has time to slowly endure. The most important thing is that these things should be popularized, at least for a long time, especially in the opposite case. Even if they come out, it will take a long time for samples and popularization to reach the people. If BD and HD don't reach 8X, it's totally worthless. High-speed disk technology requires too much hardware, and the current hard disk is very difficult (in short, even if it is popularized, the current low-end configuration is barely or long ago eliminated). Let's review the history. DVD will be completely unified in the second half of this year. In the first half of this year, some "experts" recommended CDs of around 4,000 yuan. VCD was released in 1989, and DVD was determined in 1995. Times have changed, and the maturity of a product has to wait at least 5- 10 years. The popularity of BD and HD will not be fast, and now there are only rom, XD-R and XD-RW. By the way, my personal opinion is that although BD is bigger, HD is big enough, HD discs are cheaper, and encryption copyright is much better than BD, which may be more suitable for computers. Microsoft was also forced to make statements, some of which were very interesting.
Finally, DVD recorders, especially in coastal areas, also have a large number of fakes and returns flowing into the market. In addition, although the burner is better than the CD, the quality is always uneven. Bad brands may have good brands, and good brands may also have bad brands. Just like the motherboard of ASUS is inevitably broken, many colorful graphics cards are used well. Don't be confused by individual phenomena. Furthermore, there are some extra things in DVD recorder, such as 86 data cable, DMA, power supply, learning to use nero, learning to open booktype, learning to burn files, music and movies, refreshing firmware, paying attention to the system burden when burning, whether the burning speed is safe, disc selection and recognition, etc. Basically, these problems are the first contact, not necessarily the cause of the recorder.
Cut to the chase and start a detailed analysis. Because there are many models on the market, such as light sculpture, SATA and external, which are generally similar to the built-in ones, I don't want to analyze them (in fact, I don't know much about them), but just list representative styles. In the analysis, we only look at the burning ability, because the burner is bought first, and reading the disc is secondary. However, the current recorders are more or less slow in identifying and picking up optical discs. Who told the DVD forum to fight against the alliance, and produced a lot of DVD recording formats (note that even RAM, the specific standards have many different troubles), and the people are miserable. But generally speaking, there are two schools-R and +R. The well-carved ones-R are generally worse than+R, and some with +-R are OK. The details are hard to say. You said that the +R of a certain department is not good, but some discs are surprisingly good. I just said on the whole that they are basically objective. In addition, in terms of hardware, from the main control chip of low-end models, high-end and rare soc chips are not considered. If Renesas gets 90 points, Philips and Panasonic get 80 points, and NEC and MTK70 get 70 points. As far as baldness is concerned, as I said before, although baldness is almost as important as master control, baldness is more homogeneous. For example, XBOX often changes its bald head, and Sanyo acquired by NEC is similar to Philips and Pioneer, but a brand of Samsung's bald head in Taiwan Province Province is said to be poor. Generally speaking, many people like to discuss the main control of tape recorders (but not motors), but what is the most practical in terms of workmanship and performance? Master control and optical head are only part of the cost. Some people say it's probably unkind, because it's just a quotation. Who doesn't have software worth thousands of dollars at home? Work is more important, design is more important, service is more important, and life is more important. Even the same master, the gap between good and bad is extremely obvious.
Now, let's start with the details. First of all, let's talk about the leader of the burner, that is, PLEXTOR (PX for short) in Japan. Its high-end burner is super expensive, and thousands are normal. And a good horse with a saddle, Packert pick the dish. 2 yuan's CD burning effect may not be as good as Samsung's. The CD-ROM is also version D, which is biased on some models (such as 7 12), but the high-end CD-ROM is very good. Puckett has comprehensive professional testing software and special recording software. Almost all disc tests are based on Puckett's burner, which is the only choice for patriots with little money. Only PX in China can consider buying high-end products. Speaking of which, Puckett has recently set foot in the low-end and produced several affordable models, such as 740A/750A. Many people criticized BenQ for making it, implying that … in fact, Laoding 7 12/7 16 was made by BenQ. The difference is that 740/750 is a brand, and 7 16/760 is completely independently developed. However, although Packert was good, he didn't despair of failure. Moreover, he successfully entered the China market and obtained a large number of early high-level gunmen on professional websites such as CDs. Many of them are veterans now. As a quality, Puckett's mid-to high-end products are excellent and one of the few independent manufacturers. Since Yamaha's death, the only competitors who are barely enough are Teac and so on. He usually adopts Sanyo's bald high-end products and designs a single main control chip on SoC (such as LC897492 of 7 16A). By the way, just like the habits of some Nissan masters (mainly petty bourgeoisie members of DVD forums), the top 7 12/7 16 does not support+RW book type (both+R and +R DL are supported) because it uses Sanyo's top chips (Sanyo has many kinds of chips, and soc is exclusive and top-notch). If it is recommended to buy, the matching discs should be Mitsubishi and Induction. He is a little lazy at the low end, and directly let the low end do better OEM. For example, 740 is designed by Philips and 750 is designed by teac, so it is more cost-effective to buy directly from the manufacturer.
There are also products from ASUS and Pioneer. First of all, it broke the suspense. Asus and Pioneer are integrated on DVD. Their cooperation is not simple, unlike the general cooperative relationship between Sony and Jianxing. Pioneer sold the whole set of technology and even his bald head to ASUS (pioneer is all royalties). It can be considered that the pioneering work in China is ASUS, and there is no need to consider who the design belongs to. They are allies of Southeast Asia. But to add, they are not completely allied, because they are sold to Europe and the United States by the Japanese pioneer factory instead of ASUS OEM, which is somewhat different. Under the guidance of pioneer, ASUS has been in the business for a short time, but its quality and market share are good. Pioneer's optical drives in Southeast Asia are basically manufactured by ASUS, and the cost relationship, post-packaging and packaging are only in Chinese mainland. There are also some rumors that Pioneer helps Asustek to manufacture in Chinese mainland (it is unwise to think that Asustek itself is very big). The mainland is definitely ASUS, and countless disassembly comparison diagrams are also clearly integrated. Even some pioneer circuit boards were written by ASUS, which is obvious.
