Lei Jun, born in Xiantao, Hubei Province in 1969, is the founder, chairman and CEO of Xiaomi Technology; chairman of Kingsoft Software Company; and a famous angel investor in mainland China. In December 2012, he won the "China Economic Figure of the Year Emerging Award". Lei Jun served as a member of the Haidian District CPPCC for two terms. He was elected as a deputy to the Beijing Municipal People's Congress in 2012 and a deputy to the National People's Congress in February 2013.
