Characteristics of future cities

"Future industry" is an industry that has a great impact on human production and life and plays a leading role in the whole social economy. It is forward-looking and subversive. With reference to relevant standards and definitions, ICV defines the annual "future industry" in 2022 as six major fields, namely: quantum information, green energy, robotics, hyperspace, advanced communication and biotechnology.

When analyzing the latest trend of the future industry, the index thinks that the future industry will become a new track for competition among big countries, and the technological development of major countries in the world is changing with each passing day, which will promote the future industry to gradually move towards application prospects. The epidemic situation in COVID-19 and the prominent digital divide have objectively accelerated the pace of industrial cultivation in the future. Looking forward to the future, future industries will not deviate from the direction of intelligence, sustainable development and life science, and countries will also introduce more powerful future industrial policies to promote the accelerated development of related industries.
