What did you invent? Besides the four great inventions, what else can you get?

Artificial bovine insulin

Starting from 1958, Shanghai Institute of Biochemistry, Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Peking University Department of Biology joined forces, with Niu Jingyi as the team leader, Gong Yueting, Du Yucang, Ji, Xing, Wang You, Xu Jiecheng and others forming a collaboration group. On the basis of predecessors' research on the structure of insulin and the synthesis method of peptide chain, after careful study, they established a program for synthesizing bovine insulin. This was China's only chance to win the Nobel Prize at that time.

On May 2, 20 16, Han Chunyu's paper was published in Nature Biotechnology. Han Chunyu's team invented a new gene editing technology (NgAgo-gDNA), which is different from the latest technology (CRISPR-Cas9) and is suitable for genome editing in human cells. The latter searches for replacement sequences through RNA, while the new technology uses DNA as the intermediary to find replacement targets.

20 10 central south university announced that Liu Lu had proved the sitapan conjecture put forward by British mathematical logician David sitapan. His paper named "RT _ 2 2 does not imply WKL _ 0" was published in Journal of Symbolic Logic (No.2, 20 12) on pages 609-602.
