In March, he presided over the annual summary meeting of the "Research on Supporting Application Technology System for Formula Fertilizer Production" of the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" National Science and Technology Support Plan.
Blended fertilizer standards, BB fertilizer standards
On April 9, 2008, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and the National Standardization Administration approved the release of blended fertilizers (BB fertilizer) The national standard GB 21633-2008 (hereinafter referred to as the "new standard") will be officially implemented on December 1, 2008. This standard is a mandatory national standard with some provisions. After the implementation of the standard, the internal quality and product labeling of blended fertilizers (BB fertilizers) produced by enterprises must comply with the new standards, and the national standard GB 15063 for compound fertilizers (compound fertilizers) can no longer be implemented. -2001. The author here introduces several key points of the new standard to readers.
1. Scope of application of the standard
The new standard applies to products with declared amounts of at least two of the three nutrients nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium made by dry mixing. Granular fertilizer; suitable for compound fertilizers that are mixed with one or more particles of granular nitrogen fertilizer (such as large particle urea), granular phosphate fertilizer (such as ammonium phosphate) and granular potassium fertilizer by dry mixing method. The new standards do not apply to products in which only one or more types of organic particles, biological agent particles, and medium and trace element particles are dry-mixed in compound fertilizers.
2. Nutrient indicators do not distinguish between high, medium and low concentrations
Unlike the national standard for compound fertilizers, which are divided into high, medium and low concentrations according to total nutrient content, the new standard has only one indicator: total nutrients Not less than 35.0%. The indicators of the percentage of water-soluble phosphorus in available phosphorus, moisture content and particle size (2.00mm~4.00mm) are respectively: no less than 60%, no more than 2.0% and no less than 70%.
3. New breakthroughs in medium and trace elements
When revising the national standards for compound fertilizers (compound fertilizers) in 2001, the country also issued GB 15063-2001 "Compound Fertilizers (Compound Fertilizers)" Compound Fertilizer)" and GB 18382-2001 "Fertilizer Labeling Contents and Requirements". In order to put an end to the phenomenon that some companies at that time included medium and trace elements in total nutrients and used labels to mislead consumers, the standard clearly stipulates: If medium and trace elements are added, it shall not be marked on the packaging container and quality certificate.
However, considering that medium and trace elements are also indispensable nutrients for crops, the standard has reserved an interface for "except those stipulated by national standards or industry standards." In recent years, the promotion of soil testing and formulated fertilization has continued to increase across the country. It has become increasingly important to adjust the nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium ratio and increase the application of medium and trace elements in a targeted manner. In 2006, the Ministry of Agriculture issued the agricultural industry standard NY/T 1112-2006 "Formulated Fertilizer", which for the first time "unbanned" trace elements of iron, manganese, copper, zinc, boron and molybdenum. The standard stipulates that the content of iron, manganese, copper, zinc, boron and not less than 0.2% and molybdenum content not less than 0.01% can be declared on the packaging label, but it shall not be included in the total nutrients. The new standards released this time stipulate that a single medium element not less than 2.0% and a single trace element not less than 0.02% can be declared on the packaging label, but they must not be included in the total nutrients. The detection methods of medium and trace elements are currently implemented in accordance with GB/T 19203-2003 and GB/T 14540-2003 standards.
Four. The sampling plan is more scientific and reasonable
During the storage and transportation process of blended fertilizer (BB fertilizer), material particles of different densities are easy to stratify, which will cause uneven distribution of nutrients in the package. Evenly. According to the sampling plan stipulated in the national standards for compound fertilizers, it is easy for the nutrient detection results to deviate greatly from the actual situation. The new standard stipulates a more scientific and reasonable sampling plan based on the product characteristics of blended fertilizers: use a dedicated double-layered internal and external sampling probe that can rotate to close the inner tank; samples are taken from the four corners of the package in sequence; the total sample volume is not less than 4 kilograms ; The sample must be divided using a grid type divider.
5. New regulations on labeling
According to the new standards, product names can only use "blended fertilizer" or "blended fertilizer (BB fertilizer)". Products with a chloride ion content greater than 3% must be clearly labeled "containing chlorine" in Chinese and cannot be replaced by "chlorine", "containing Cl" or "Cl". And the label "containing chlorine" must not be labeled with words such as potassium sulfate (type), potassium nitrate (type), sulfur base, etc. that may easily lead users to mistakenly believe that the product does not contain chlorine. Blended fertilizers containing ammonium nitrate raw materials should be marked with the ammonium nitrate mass fraction on the front of the package, and safety precautions should be marked on the label.
6. Added ton bag packaging specifications
BB fertilizer in English is Bulk blending fertilizer, which means bulk blending fertilizer. Most BB fertilizers abroad are ready-mixed for immediate use and transported in short-distance bulk shipments, but there are basically no bulk fertilizers in China. For the first time, the new standard includes 1,000 kilograms of ton bag packaging in the net content specification. This is mainly due to the fact that China's planting industry has begun to intensify in some areas, and there will be a certain demand for fertilizers in bulk or ton bags.
