Brief introduction of deeds
Where does environmental protection start?
"One reading of People's Daily can produce four environmental protection pencils; One ton of waste newspaper can produce nearly 200,000 environmental protection pencils, so it can save 9 cubic meters of small wood and cut down 45 natural trees with a diameter of more than 24 cm ... "This is the favorite topic of Liu Yuchun, chairman of Beijing Zhongke Jinda Technology Development Company. All his friends know that all kinds of newspapers and pencils can be found in Mr. Liu's car and briefcase at any time. He always shows the benefits of using paper sticks and pencils in front of all people he knows and doesn't know. Although people are often amazed at the exquisite appearance of his pencils, the superb technology of cutting lead, and the beautiful scraps of paper flowing out of the pencil sharpener, Mr. Liu is always most proud of this sentence: "Except the lead core, all newspapers!"
The word "environmental protection" is something we talk about or hear every day, and it has become the most concerned hot topic in China and even the whole world. However, if you want to ask, what are the tangible environmental protection products around us, I'm afraid most people don't know how to answer. This is an urgent problem for environmental protection in China. In fact, many details in our daily life are closely related to environmental protection. As far as the pencils that each of us often uses are concerned, the global annual consumption of pencils is 654.38+0.2 billion, of which more than half are from China. China is the world's largest producer and exporter of pencils, but there is a sad fact hidden behind this "boss": while nearly 654.38 billion pencils are born every year, more than 400,000 cubic meters of wood and more than 4 million trees are cut down.10000.100001000006
It is these shocking figures that prompted Liu Yuchun to give up his career as an uncrowned journalist for more than ten years, give up the generous treatment of CCTV and devote himself to the arduous task of environmental protection seven years ago. After seven years of hard work and struggle, Liu Yuchun is now the patent holder who uses waste newspapers instead of wood to produce environmentally friendly pencils. This patent has changed the traditional pencil production technology in China for nearly a hundred years. Replacing wood with waste paper not only saves wood, but also turns waste into treasure. This project was listed as a key scientific and technological innovation project in Beijing in 2004. Zhongke Jinda Company has also developed into a key supporting enterprise in Beijing with an annual output of 70 million environmental protection pencils, and its products are exported to more than 30 countries and regions.
