The DA/DN80 gas turbine was put into operation in 1995, with a total length of 4.6m, a weight of16t, a rotating speed of 3,000-3,600rpm, a maximum power of 26,680.5kW and a thermal efficiency of 36.5%. It is the most advanced engine of its kind in the world except WR-2 1 in the United States.
However, because the machine was put into production only 10 year, the specific loading and operation time is short, and there is still a certain gap in service life and maintenance time compared with the old models such as LM2500 in the United States and Spey in the United Kingdom.
The ship's auxiliary engine is an imported MTU20V956TB90 diesel engine. Although the performance is not very advanced, it has basically been localized, with high reliability and "enough".
