What is the scope of intellectual property protection stipulated in trips Agreement?

The intellectual property involved in TRIPS Agreement includes the following eight aspects: copyright and related rights, trademarks, geographical indications, industrial designs, patents, layout-design of integrated circuits, protection of undisclosed information and control of restrictive competition in licensing contracts. At the same time, the agreement has made detailed provisions on the availability, scope, exercise standards, implementation, acquisition and maintenance procedures, dispute prevention and settlement of the above-mentioned intellectual property rights, which has gone beyond any existing international convention on intellectual property rights and will make intellectual property rights inseparable from trade issues.
