A brief introduction to Liu Xinyu’s deeds

He studied under the famous scientist Academician Wu Dexin and is mainly engaged in the research and development of radiation-resistant SOI CMOS circuits and compound semiconductor microwave devices, circuits and modules. He has participated in and hosted 9 national-level projects, with scientific research funding reaching 130 million yuan. In 2000, it developed a large-scale CMOS/SOI 64Kb static random access memory circuit and a 10,000-gate fully depleted gate array circuit for the first time in China. In 2002, at the age of 29, he was promoted to researcher as an exception. In 2004, he served as the chief scientist of the "973" project "Research on New Generation Compound Semiconductor Electronic Devices and Circuits". In 2006, he took over as the chief scientist of the 973 project. In May 2007, as the chief scientist, he was responsible for key innovation projects of the institute. In 2009, as the chief scientist, the "973" project "Basic Research on Ultra-High Frequency, High-Power Compound Semiconductor Devices and Integration Technology" received rolling support from the Ministry of Science and Technology and won the first prize of the National Defense Science and Technology Award. He has published more than 90 academic papers in important academic journals at home and abroad, and applied for 26 national invention patents. He is a young reserve cadre trained by the Institute of Microelectronics.
