Must the abstract attachment in the patent application be one of the attachments of the specification?
Article 23 of the Detailed Rules for the Implementation of the Patent Law stipulates that an application for a patent with drawings shall also provide drawings that best illustrate the technical characteristics of the invention or utility model. Therefore, if there are drawings in the specification, the applicant shall submit the drawings that best illustrate the main technical features of the technical scheme of the invention as abstract drawings. The attached drawings shall be one of the attached drawings in the specification.
