The difference between monopoly and patent right
The core difference is that the role of patent right is to protect the legitimate use of intellectual property rights, while monopoly is to use market dominance to exclude and restrict other people's business activities. Article 1 of the Patent Law is formulated for the purpose of protecting the legitimate rights and interests of patentees, encouraging inventions and creations, promoting the application of inventions and creations, improving innovation ability, and promoting scientific and technological progress and economic and social development.
