Since the 11th Five-Year Plan, Angang Mining Company has broken through the technical bottleneck restricting the development of China's metallurgical mining industry, set off a black storm to raise iron and reduce silicon (impurities) in the whole country, embarked on the road of strategic transformation with technological innovation as the guide, became a leading enterprise in China's metallurgical mining industry, and is striving to build a world-class iron mining enterprise. In 20 12 years, the sales revenue164.8 billion yuan, the profit is 5.9 billion yuan, and the tax revenue is 3.05 billion yuan, ranking first in metallurgy and mining in China. Aiming at the bottleneck that restricts the large-scale utilization of lean hematite in China's metallurgical mining industry, Angang Mining Company adopted the thinking of reverse thinking to tackle the problem, and changed from traditional iron separation to silicon extraction, which successfully solved the worldwide technical problems of poor hematite beneficiation and formed a number of core technologies with independent intellectual property rights. The research on efficient flotation technology of Anshan-type carbonate iron ore has been completed one after another, which provides technical support for the recovery and utilization of refractory carbonate iron ore up to 5 billion tons in China. The technology of purifying magnetite concentrate by flotation column was jointly developed with China University of Mining and Technology, and the unit cost of iron concentrate was reduced by 8.52 yuan/ton. The underground collaborative mining technology of parallel ore belt in the lower part of open pit mine is developed, which makes the ore body in the upper multi-cavity belt in the southeast part of public mine safe and efficient. Dry magnetic separation equipment is applied to a large-scale magnetite belt discharging production system, and more than 6 million tons of lean ore resources are recycled annually, which is equivalent to the output of a large-scale iron mine. After the successful practice of Angang's mining and dressing technology, large domestic iron and steel enterprises and other domestic mining enterprises also adopted the strategy of increasing iron and reducing silicon (impurities), which promoted the development of the whole metallurgical mining industry. Angang Mining uses philosophical thinking to promote project management, regards the project as a practical activity to build a "beautiful homeland", establishes a "five-product linkage" mining and smelting project management model, unifies the systematic view, ecological view, multiple values and social view of the project, takes high concentrate grade as the core, and comprehensively considers ore geological grade, extraction grade, clean concentrate grade, concentrate grade and furnace grade, so as to promote mining by selection, select more and smelt less. Breaking through the mindset of "independent optimization of mining, dressing and smelting process", a comprehensive development and utilization project management model and engineering technology with completely independent intellectual property rights, integrating iron ore efficient utilization, industrial operation and green production and manufacturing, has been formed, and the world's first super-large lean iron ore area has been built in the east of Anshan.
