In addition, the new company will also use Rohinni's listed technology, which is three to five times faster than the traditional pick-and-paste technology, and can install 50 chips per second with an accuracy of 10 micron. The yield of chips used in consumer goods is as high as 99.999%.
Rohinni said that its patented technology allows manufacturers to install micro-LEDs on the substrate, which is fast and accurate enough to support the requirements of mass production. Combining these speed, precision and output level, it becomes the first economical and feasible technology to make full use of the prospect of Mini and MicroLED.
The joint venture company will be located in China. Initially, it will focus on large-size consumer electronics products (diagonal over 32 inches) and displays of different sizes in markets such as industry and automobiles.
The joint venture company controlled by BOE will be able to bring micro and mini LED products to the market faster and more economically, and it is expected to replace organic light-emitting diodes.
