Cadillac Lyriq concept car
Cadillac Lyriq will be built on GM's new electrification platform BEV3. The new car is Cadillac's first pure electric SUV, which is positioned in medium and large SUVs. The exterior design adopts the latest family design language, and the interior may adopt a six-seat layout. The new car will be listed on August 7, and will be listed in China as soon as next year.
Did it happen in March this year? At the weekly event, GM released the third-generation global electric vehicle platform equipped with the latest Ultium battery, which can cover pickup trucks, SUVs, crossover vehicles, cars, commercial vehicles and other models, providing excellent product design, performance, configuration, battery life and economy. SAIC-GM signed a strategic cooperation agreement with suppliers on the BEV3 project, which further extended their business cooperation on the electric vehicle platform, indicating that the localization of the BEV3 project has been put on the agenda.
In addition, the brand-new Ultium battery that the new car will carry is a lithium-ion battery pack specially developed by General Motors for future pure electric vehicles, and its batteries can be arranged in both vertical and horizontal directions, which is conducive to optimizing battery energy storage and vehicle layout. Ultium batteries will adopt a patented chemical formula with low cobalt content, effectively reducing the production cost of power batteries. Its battery capacity ranges from 50 kWh to 200 kWh and can support a cruising range of 640 kilometers. Electric vehicles equipped with Ultium batteries support home charging and DC fast charging, and most models will be equipped with 400 volt battery packs and 200 kWh fast charging capability.
Cadillac XT4
According to SAIC-GM's vehicle code rules, the first two codes represent the platform, the first Theory of Three Represents vehicle style, and the fourth represents the brand, so the vehicle code E2QL belongs to Cadillac. At present, only XT4 under SAIC-GM Cadillac is built on E2 platform, and the third letter "Q" has never appeared in other models of Cadillac brand. Judging from this, the new car with internal code name E2QL will be XT4 derivative version based on E2 platform, or coupe version, or crossover style model.
Cadillac CT6
At present, the internal code of the current Cadillac CT6 is O 1SL, so the O 1SL-2 in SAIC-GM's new project is a new generation CT6 model. CT6 is Cadillac's current flagship car product, which has been sold in China for five years since it was launched on 20 16. It is reported that the new generation CT6 will be launched in 2022, and the plug-in hybrid models stopped in the middle of 2065438+2008 will be re-launched.
