Start-program (all programs)-creativity -soundblaster live! -Creative Surround Mixer right-click to send it to the desktop shortcut. Because the creative surround sound mixer is often used, it is recommended to drag it to the bottom shortcut bar.
Run the Creative Surround Mixer program, click EAX, and click Advanced Mode to display the following interface.
The leftmost volume is the total volume control, which controls the volume that users hear themselves. Next to the bass, the default state is generally ok. Waveform /MP3 controls the size of its own music, which needs to be adjusted according to the accompaniment volume. The microphone itself monitors the sound of singing or talking in the microphone. The purpose of adjustment is that the microphone does not whistle and matches the accompaniment volume appropriately. The red "+"sign above the microphone is the switch control enhanced by the microphone. Some users use a recording condenser microphone and a "linear input" jack, so you can adjust the volume of the microphone through it. On the far right is the volume control of the recording source. When singing in Shanghai, please choose "the sound you hear", which is usually called internal playback or remix (note: this is remix, not reverberation, and many friends can easily confuse the two. Mix is mix reverberation, one is to mix all kinds of sound sources together, the other is reverberation effect, remember! As for MIDI, CD stereo, auxiliary equipment, CD number, telephone answering and PC speaker, it is enough to mute all of them. It is recommended to turn the volume to 0.
2. Speaker settings
If you listen to music through a speaker, you should choose the highest level speaker setting according to your sound card, sing online, and choose 2. 1 speaker if you listen to headphones.
3. Effect parameter setting
Select the EAX effect and click "Settings", which is the EAX effect setting. This interface is similar to 7. 1 series sound cards. We choose "Custom", enter a name we like on the right, such as "Singing", and then click Save. Then set the parameters (custom effect settings can be displayed in the EAX effect list, which is easy to find.
Main effect: the original sound does not need to be modified, and the default value is 0.0DB reverberation: choose the concert hall, and the main reverberation volume is -6.0 to-18.0 (personal preference setting, powerful singers like to use below -30); Chorus: the volume of the main chorus-infinite, because it doesn't need the effect of singing on the microphone, which is generally used in the case of synthetic instruments; Echo: Select creative echo and "main", and the volume of main echo is-10 to -20. By default, there is no echo, so we add "echo" by adding the button, and the parameter equalization mentioned below is added in the same way. Add a "parameter balance", the type is "popular pop", and the effect is between-12 and -6, which can be adjusted according to your preferences. After setting, click the disk icon in the upper right corner to save.
After the modification, click the disk icon in the upper right corner to save and complete the basic settings. (Note: The above parameters can be modified according to personal preferences and different use environments. )
4. Advanced Adjustment-Parameter Modification
Perhaps after completing the above steps, users are still not satisfied with their own effects, so here we provide some advanced suggestions for adjusting the effects for your reference.
If you feel that a certain frequency band of Mike's voice is not satisfactory, you can modify the frequency division points and gain values of high, medium and low frequencies in parameter equalization.
If you feel that the reverberation effect is somewhat inappropriate, you can modify the response parameters: attenuation time, high-frequency attenuation ratio, low-frequency attenuation ratio, reflection delay, etc ... Provide a set of reference data: attenuation time is 2 seconds, high-frequency attenuation ratio 1.8 or 2.0, low-frequency attenuation ratio is 0.8, and reflection delay 18 milliseconds. Modify the name of the modified reverberation type, for example.
