The creator of Hanguang Porcelain

Li Youyu's resume: The creator of Hanguang Ceramics, a ceramic artist with a creative spirit. Born in 1954 in Yueyang, Hunan Province, he graduated from Hunan Light Industry College and the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts, and has been engaged in university teaching and research for a long time. He once served as deputy director of the Institute of Ceramics, Academy of Fine Arts, Shanghai University. In 1989, he served as a visiting scholar at Osaka University of Arts in Japan and studied Japanese modern ceramics. In 1999, he visited the United States with his works and research results. Wherever he went, he was welcomed and highly praised by the ceramic art circles in the United States. The Hanguang porcelain works he designed won the National Arts and Crafts Creation Gold Medal; his research on ceramic technology has obtained more than ten national patents; the Hanguang Ceramics environmental engineering art he created is unique in the architecture and interior design circles. He is currently the chairman and general manager of Hanguang Enterprise, and concurrently serves as a researcher at the Sculpture Art Institute of the Shanghai Institute of Literature and History.
