The Food Industry in Anbu Town

Anbu food industry has a long history. About 100 years ago, towns such as Chaoanbu had the technology of processing preserved fruits and pickling melons and vegetables. After the evolution of the times and the benefits of port cities, food processing has gradually become a scale. In recent years, with the development of market economy, Anbu has actively adjusted and optimized its industrial structure, continuously improved product quality, and developed group-based large-scale production by virtue of its strong market awareness and innovative spirit of relying on scientific and technological progress, making the food industry full of vitality and becoming one of the pillar industries of Chaoan economy. There are more than 700 food enterprises in the town, and a number of food-scale enterprises such as Yashili, Huang Fen, Jiabao, Kang Hui, Jiaxiang, Weishiya, Xiaomi and Jinli have emerged.

Food has developed from the original four categories of cold dishes, preserved fruits, preserved meat and condiments to more than 2,000 varieties of preserved fruits, biscuits, beverages, puffed food, preserved meat, dairy products, bean products, fish products, preserved fruits and vegetables, condiments, health foods, etc. 15 categories, which sell well in 29 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions across the country. Some products have entered the international market and sold to more than 40 countries and regions such as Southeast Asia, Europe and America. Known as "the first gourmet town in China".

Food production and processing industry has always been an important pillar industry in Anbu and even in eastern Guangdong, enjoying a wide reputation at home and abroad.

With the gathering of private economy to advantageous regions and industries, a number of professional industrial communities with characteristic products as the leading factor and private enterprises as the main body have emerged, initially forming a "block economy" pattern of regionalization, specialization and scale.

Anbu Town is known as "the first gourmet town in China". 1997 with the support of the local intellectual property management department and the town party Committee and government, Anbu Town Food Industry Association took the lead in formulating the Convention on the Rights Protection of Anbu Food Industry Association on Product Names, Trademarks, Labels and Food Packaging Designs. At present, the food industry has developed from a traditional private workshop-style enterprise with simple processing to introducing new technologies and new processes to transform traditional production technologies, forming serial production and improving product quality and grade.

It owns many group companies and large enterprises such as Garbo, Huang Fen, Yashili, Kang Hui and Visa. Food products have developed to more than 2000 varieties in health care, leisure and nutrition 14 categories. Anbu Enterprise has obtained more than 3,000 patents in China, more than 0,000 registered trademarks/kloc-0 and many famous trademarks in Guangdong Province, making it the largest intellectual property town in eastern Guangdong.
