Levi Strauss (1February 26th, 829 ~1September 26th, 902) was the inventor of jeans. Founder of LEVI'S.
Levi Strauss 1847 immigrated to new york from Germany. /kloc-in 0/853, he took advantage of the gold rush in California to go to San Francisco, made a batch of unsalable canvas into hundreds of trousers, and took them to the gold rush site for promotion, which was very popular with gold prospectors.
1855, Strauss gave up canvas and made overalls with strong and wear-resistant indigo denim, and reinforced the trouser pockets and seams with copper nails. This kind of sturdy and beautiful trousers was quickly favored by the market, and a large number of orders poured in. Strauss opened his first store in San Francisco under his own name Levi's.
1873, Strauss obtained a registered patent for fixing trousers seams with impact nails. 1890, Levi's first pair of plus-size jeans, the world-famous 50 1 is its first pair of jeans.
