Xiang Yu's contempt for Liu Bang should be a guess of the world. If Xiang Yu insists on looking down on Liu Bang, it should be said that Xiang Yu looked down on anyone in the world at that time. Before he died, Xiang Yu blamed his failure on the sky and thought that he was defeated by the sky, not Liu Bang. Only in this passage can we barely see that Xiang Yu despises Liu Bang and any princes who are against him.
According to Sima Qian's record in Biography of Xiang Yu, there are fewer and fewer Chu troops in Xiang Yu, and all the food and grass are eaten up, surrounded by three layers outside the Han army of Liu Bang. Xiang Yu suddenly heard the elegy of the Chu people outside, and he was exhausted and completely collapsed. He suspected that Chu had been occupied by Liu Bang, so he drank.
Xiang Yu was drinking and suddenly became interested in poetry. Immediately sang a song about the love triangle of Xiang Yu, Yu Ji and Wu Zhui Ma, saying:
"Mountain will be angry, and unfavorable will not die. 」
"If you die, what can you do? 」
Wu Zhuima can't talk, but Yu Ji can talk. So when Xiang Yu was reciting poetry, the beautiful Yu Ji was beside him. When Xiang Yu's left and right sergeants saw this scene, they knew that Xiang Yu's mentality had collapsed. The once mighty overlord of Chu began to sigh and felt helpless, so they all began to cry with him.
After crying, Xiang Yu fled overnight with 800 warriors. Yu Ji, Xiang Yu's favorite beauty, either committed suicide, was killed by Xiang Yu or was left behind by Xiang Yu. Anyway, Xiang Yu only brought 800 warriors, not Yu Ji.
Xiang Yu ran and ran with his pro-army, and Liu Bang's Han army chased and chased at dawn. When Xiang Yu read Huaishui, there were only over 100 warriors left, and then he got lost and asked a farmer for directions. The farmer also cheated Xiang Yu and pointed him to the swamp. Seeing that the Han army was about to catch up, Xiang Yu ran away again. Running to Dongcheng, there were only 28 people left around Xiang Yu.
At that time, Xiang Yu took 8,000 soldiers all the way west, and now there are only 28 people left. Xiang Yu looked at the pursuers of the Han army, at least several thousand. He thought about it and thought that he might not be able to run, so he decided to fight the Han army for the last time. Then, Xiang Yu began to mobilize 28 people around him for pre-war mobilization. Xiang Yu blamed his failure on that day, saying that it was not incompetence for Xiang Yu to let himself fail.
Everyone should pay attention to this feeling. Xiang Yu said this to boost morale, so it can't be completely regarded as Xiang Yu's inner voice.
In addition, if you carefully read Xiang Yu's mobilization before the war, there is an obvious lie. This one is "the arrested person is penniless, and the beaten person is convinced and never loses." When Xiang Yu praised this cow, did he forget that he had not finished playing? Have you forgotten that you didn't shoot it down when you hit the yellow? How can this be called "those who have beaten have lost, and those who have beaten have never lost"? Lie with your eyes open.
Therefore, it is not valid to use this story to say that Xiang Yu despised Liu Bang.
The so-called Xiang Yu and Liu Bang became brothers, which is also from the Biography of Xiang Yu.
But this statement was made by Liu Bang himself and was not recognized by Xiang Yu or Sima Qian. I even suspect that Xiang Yu never became brothers with Liu Bang.
As I said before, Xiang Yu lied when he mobilized before the war. But telling lies is not Xiang Yu's patent. When Liu Bang scolded Xiang Yu, he also lied.
Sima Qian said in Liu Bang's detailed account of the ten deadly sins of Xiang Yu recorded in the Chronicle of Emperor Gaozu: "Wang Huai plundered, Xiang Yu set fire to Qin Gong, dug the tomb of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, and privately collected his wealth, which was the fourth deadly sin." Liu Bang said that Xiang Yu's "digging the tomb of the first emperor" should be false, and it has never been reflected in other biographies. I feel that Liu Bang exaggerated the facts when he accused Xiang Yu and Luo Zhi.
Liu Bang said that he and Xiang Yu are "about brothers", and so on. He felt that Liu Bang had come up with a story to stop Xiang Yu from cooking and killing Liu Taigong.
Anyway, as Liu Bang said, we are all courtiers of Wang Huai, and we are brothers. Is it difficult for you to refute Xiang Yu? Are we really all courtiers of Wang Huai? I put the fake behind the real one, so people will believe what I said is true, right? Besides, how do you refute me when I say we are brothers? You said there was no such thing. Do people believe you? People think you're in a hurry to get rid of relationships?
Don't believe these sweet words.
