1956 In May, Nandan County People's Government invested and acquired several old Nandan wineries such as Yufeng and Zhulinji, and established Nandan County local state-owned wineries. After the reform and opening up, the name of the factory was changed to the state-owned Nandan County Brewery. Later, it developed into Danquan wine industry in Guangxi today. Danquan Wine Industry has also built a 1,000-acre ecological winery integrating wine making, tourism and wine culture display. "Danquan Liquor" is a wine product of Danquan Liquor Industry.

Danquan brewing grain is waxy red sorghum planted in ecological base, and the brewing water is taken from natural mountain spring water at the foot of Fenghuang Mountain. The secret koji of Danquan wine has won many national patents, and various herbs are integrated into the koji, which has a unique sauce flavor. Danquan follows the traditional brewing technology of "four highs and three lengths", with solid Khun Sa fermentation, two blanking, nine cooking, eight circular fermentation and seven wine extraction. A year's production cycle, stored for at least three years, then each bottle of Danquan Maotai-flavor liquor has a history of at least five years.
