Since 1998, our department has taken the lead in developing nearly ten cases of autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in Zhenjiang to treat malignant hematological diseases such as malignant lymphoma and acute lymphoblastic leukemia. In 2004, 6 patients with malignant hematological diseases such as leukemia and lymphoma were successfully treated by allogeneic stem cell transplantation between relatives, allogeneic bone marrow transplantation from unrelated donors and nonmyeloablative allogeneic bone marrow transplantation. In 2006, autologous peripheral blood hematopoietic stem cell transplantation was carried out to treat elderly patients with hematological tumors, which achieved good results, prolonged the survival time of patients and improved the disease-free survival rate and quality of life of patients.
(2) Treatment of malignant hematological diseases
At the same time, advanced foreign chemotherapy schemes are introduced to treat acute leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma and chronic myeloproliferative diseases. We actively explore individualized treatment programs for patients and make a set of programs according to their MICM diagnosis and various prognostic factors. At present, medium and large doses of MTX and cytarabine combined chemotherapy have been used to treat refractory and recurrent acute leukemia. Low-dose induced differentiation and pre-excitation regimen are used to treat senile acute leukemia and hypoproliferative leukemia, STl57 1 (Gleevec) is used to treat chronic myeloid leukemia and Ph+ acute lymphoblastic leukemia, all-trans retinoic acid combined with arsenious acid is used to treat acute promyelocytic leukemia, and drugs and regimens such as MP, VAD, thalidomide, arsenious acid, velcade and osteophosphine are combined or sequentially used to treat multiple myeloma.

It is one of the few units that carried out routine MICM diagnosis of leukemia earlier in the province, which greatly improved the diagnosis accuracy, treatment response and prognosis judgment level of leukemia patients, and provided good support and services for colleagues in hematology departments of hospitals at all levels in Zhenjiang and surrounding areas. 200 1 hematology department took the lead in detecting 29 related fusion genes of acute leukemia simultaneously by using multiple nested RT-PCR technology, and found many gene abnormalities, which made up for the deficiency of chromosome karyotype analysis and low sensitivity. At the same time, tumor-related genes, such as telomerase activity, P53, P73, N-ras, Bcl-2, TCRγ, IgH, MLL, Jak2, Flt3, C-KIT gene rearrangement, were detected. It is of great significance for the diagnosis and classification of leukemia and lymphoma, guiding treatment and judging prognosis. In addition, the genetic diagnosis of hemophilia A was established by using the polymorphism of microsatellite CA- 13, CA-22 and microsatellite DXS 15 closely linked to the gene, which greatly improved the diagnostic accuracy. A number of testing items have reached the domestic and provincial advanced level.
At the end of 2003, the real-time quantitative PCR technology of endogenous reference genes was established for the first time in China. Now it is considered that the first department in China can provide the absolute and relative quantitative results of the fusion genes P2 10 and P 190 of PH chromosome positive leukemia at the same time, and the results are more scientific, reliable and timely, so as to understand the bcr/abl transcript content at the initial diagnosis, judge the tumor cell load in patients and monitor the tiny residue after treatment.
