Summary of Graduation Internship at Hongqi Factory
On October 21, 20XX, we visited Xi’an Aviation Engine Co., Ltd. of China First Aviation Industry Corporation of China. As a college student majoring in aerospace engines, this internship inspired my enthusiasm for learning aviation knowledge and rooted in my heart the belief that aviation serves the country.
Founded in 1958, China First Aviation Xi’an Aero Engine Co., Ltd. is China’s large aviation engine manufacturing base and one of the country’s 1,000 large enterprise groups. The company has various domestic and foreign It has more than 4,000 units (sets) of advanced cold and hot processing equipment and measurement and testing equipment, and has won more than 150 scientific research achievement awards at the provincial, ministerial and above levels. It has developed and produced turbojet engines, turbine power generation devices, turbofan engines, and gas turbines. Such as WP5, WP8, WS9 (Qinling) and other national key model aircraft engines.
West Air Group Corporation takes "serving the country through aviation and pursuing first" as its mission, paying equal attention to domestic and foreign markets, forming an aviation product-led, international aviation parts production, diversified civilian products and tertiary industry* **The pattern of common development. The company has also established three joint ventures with the British Rolls-Royce Company, the American Pratt & Whitney Company, the Israeli Blade Technology Company, and the German Bakdur Company respectively; it has established solid cooperative relationships with many internationally renowned aviation companies, and has ranked among the top 10 in foreign trade earnings for many years. Ranked first among domestic peers. The company's product development has formed a high-tech, high value-added and diversified product group that involves rapier looms, high-speed wire rod finishing units, gas turbines, wind turbines, petrochemical equipment, aluminum profiles, etc. and involves many industries.
During the visit, I focused on observing three models of aero engines: WP5, WP8, and WS9 (Qinling).
WP8 engine: The turbojet 8 engine is produced by Xi'an Aero Engine Company based on the РД-3М engine drawings and data provided by the former Soviet Union. On March 29, 1967, the Air Navigation Committee approved the delivery to the troops. Two WP8 engines are installed on the H-6 (H-6), each with a maximum thrust of 95 kN.
WP5 engine: The WP-5 engine is a turbojet engine designed and manufactured by China West Airlines Group Corporation. Shenyang Aircraft Factory successfully trial-produced China's first jet fighter, the J-5. The power unit is a WP-5 centrifugal jet engine with afterburner. The maximum thrust is 25.50 kN (2600 kg), and the afterburner thrust is 33.15 kN (3380 kg).
The heart of the Flying Leopard fighter-bomber - the Turbofan 9 aircraft engine: The Turbofan 9 dual-rotor afterburning turbofan engine is a product of the Xi'an Aviation Engine Company based on the China Technology Import Corporation on December 13, 1975. With British Rolls. Royce signed a patent license and production contract for the Spey MK202 engine. The turbofan 9 that achieved national production was named "Qinling". The domestic turbofan 9 has a maximum afterburning thrust of 9,305 kilograms.
I have long wanted to see what the so-called "heart of the aircraft" looks like, and this trip to the West finally made my long-cherished wish come true. It was the first time I stood in front of a real aircraft engine that I finally understood: It turns out that this is the "heart of the aircraft", and I will have to deal with this thing in the future. I had only occasionally seen the structure and principles of aeroengines in books before. This time it was right in front of me. The compressor, combustion chamber, turbine, tail nozzle... everything was so real. Needless to say, the structure and performance. I know it by heart. Standing in front of the Qinling engine, I was filled with emotions. From China's introduction of Rolls-Royce's Spey-202 in 1975 to Qinling's complete localization in 2003, Chinese aviation people have struggled for 28 years. Among them, the spirit of hard work and perseverance are self-evident. He always inspires our new generation of aviation people to work hard. And this is just an imitation! The development and production of a new type of engine will be a comprehensive test of perseverance and innovation ability. I still can't understand how much effort it requires, but I already deeply feel the pressure on my shoulders.
From Turbojet 5 to Turbojet 8 and then to Turbofan 9, I have seen aviation’s spirit of serving the country and pursuing first place; from J-5, H-6 to Flying Leopard and then to J-10, I have seen China's aviation industry is moving forward firmly despite ups and downs. I think that serving the country through aviation is not just a slogan, it requires us to put it into action.
Since China had its own aviation industry, we have made great progress, but we must admit that we still have many technologies that are far behind the world's advanced level, and there is still a lot of room for improvement. Our generation of aviation professionals has a long way to go. In the future, I will always remind and motivate myself with the concept of "serve the country through aviation and pursue first", be more strict with myself in study and work, strive to improve myself, strive to become an excellent aviation power talent, and aspire to be the aviation power of the motherland. Dedicate your youth to your career. ;
