2. Submit relevant applications to the German Patent and Trademark Office;
3. The relevant departments issued a notice of acceptance;
4. The patent will be examined in terms of format and obvious substantive defects;
5. The patent application will be made public at the expiration of 18 months from the filing date (priority date);
6. The request for substantive examination can be made within seven years from the date of application;
7. The patent will be examined in substance, and the applicant shall reply to the notice of examination opinions;
8. If the patent application meets the legal requirements, the German Patent and Trademark Office grants the invention-creation patent right and publishes the authorized patent.
