What is the difference between several generations of jungle camouflage of the US military?

The active BDU of the US military has been installed since the early 1980s. There is not much difference in BDU styles between the United States, the United States Navy, USMC and the United States Air Force. The difference between services lies in military caps and military emblems. The United States and the United States Air Force wear combat hats, with the front bottom and the back high. USMC and USN wear octagonal hats, and Benny hats are adopted by all services. The active BDU jacket consists of five wide-band buttons (collar button exposed, others hidden), two box-type upper pockets and two box-type lower pockets, both with pocket covers, and a pen bag in the left chest pocket. Jackets have no shoulder rings (occasionally a few shoulder rings). Waist tab can be seen in the styles before the mid-1990s, but it is believed that it has been cancelled in the later period. The cuff has a cuff to adjust the tightness.

And three buttons. For the convenience of combat, some special forces used to sew the chest bag on their arms, sew the lower bag obliquely on their chests, and put their shirts into their pants during combat.

ACU is a new type of army digital camouflage general training uniform.

On June 2, 2004, KLOC-0, the US Army officially announced a new type of army digital camouflage general combat suit (ACU). It will completely replace the currently used jungle uniforms (woodland camouflage) and desert uniforms (U.S.DBDU 3 colors) and become the only training uniforms of the future US Army.
