What are the applicable situations of patent priority examination?

The priority examination of patent applications and patent reexamination cases stipulated in the new measures applies to the following six situations:

A. Energy conservation and environmental protection, next-generation information technology, biology, high-end equipment manufacturing, new energy, new materials, new energy vehicles, intelligent manufacturing and other national key development industries;

B. Industries mainly encouraged by the people's governments of provinces and cities with districts;

C involving the internet, big data, cloud computing and other fields, with fast technology or product update;

D. The patent applicant or reexamination claimant has made preparations for the implementation or has started the implementation, or there is evidence to prove that others are implementing their invention-creation;

E. The first application in China, the first patent application on the same subject in China, and the application to other countries or regions (without the recommendation and approval of the competent bureau or provincial bureau);

F. Other matters of great significance to national interests or public interests that need priority review.
