The main research directions are mechatronics technology, new high-efficiency process equipment, virtual simulation technology, etc. He has hosted or participated in more than 10 scientific research projects, including 1 National Natural Science Foundation project and 5 provincial and ministerial level projects. Won 2 provincial and ministerial achievement awards, 6 national patents, and 1 software copyright registration. He has published more than 20 research papers as the first author, 5 of which were included in EI.

In the field of mechatronics technology, he is committed to the application research of comprehensive measurement and control technology with computers as the core. In cooperation with enterprises, the laboratory also conducts research in the fields of compressor status monitoring and fault diagnosis, intelligent production lines for traditional Chinese medicine, and intelligent monitoring of musical fountains, and has achieved a number of practical research results.

In the field of virtual simulation technology, we are committed to the application research of network virtual reality technology. In response to the needs of practical teaching and corporate training, the Web-based process equipment simulation material library software developed has obtained national software copyright registration, and its technical achievements have been identified as leading in the country. The laboratory has also formed relatively stable application research directions in the fields of industrial monitoring human-computer interaction systems, equipment structure and factory layout virtual design based on intelligent virtual environments.

In the field of new high-efficiency process equipment, the main research interests focus on the direction of mass transfer and heat transfer.
