Anhui University of Science and Technology is a high-level characteristic university jointly established by Anhui Province and People's Republic of China (PRC) Emergency Management Department, supported by the basic capacity building project of universities in the central and western regions of the country, and implemented by the "Education and Training Plan for Excellent Engineers" of the Ministry of Education.
