Landscape Plants and Ornamental Horticulture is a discipline approved by the State Council Academic Degrees Committee. Founded in 1996, it began to recruit master students. 200 1 was approved as a doctoral discipline, and was approved as a key discipline of the state forestry administration in 2006. In 2009, it was approved as a national key discipline. After continuous construction and development, the discipline has formed four stable research directions: the research of garden plant germplasm resources, the genetic breeding of garden plants, the application of garden plants and the cultivation and management of garden plants.
Based on the characteristics of vegetation and plant application in northern cold cities, combined with the rapid development of landscape architecture and people's demand for plant landscape diversity, this topic focuses on the vegetation in cold areas and plant resources with northeast characteristics, focusing on the ornamental germplasm resources with cold resistance, drought resistance and salt tolerance, and studying the ecological benefits of garden plants such as oxygen absorption, dust retention and sterilization. Based on different functional characteristics, the study of plant configuration mode, cultivation technology, plant landscape evaluation, dried flowers color preservation and plant culture. At present, it has formed distinctive characteristics in the research of germplasm resources of ornamental plants with northern characteristics, ecological benefits of garden plants, color preservation of dried flowers and art of flower arrangement.
It has obtained many projects, such as National Natural Science Foundation, Fund for Returned Overseas Students of Ministry of Education, 948 Introduction Project of State Forestry Administration, Heilongjiang Natural Science Foundation Project, Harbin Science and Technology Commission Fund Project, Harbin Science and Technology Commission Key Project, University Research Fund and so on. At the same time, it has won many awards at or above the provincial and ministerial level, and obtained many patents in the application research of dried flowers. The discipline attaches great importance to academic exchanges at home and abroad, and has invited experts and scholars from the United States, Japan, Canada, Denmark, South Korea and other countries to give lectures and investigate, and carried out a large number of cooperative research activities.
Discipline research direction
1), the research of garden plant germplasm resources is based on plant taxonomy, plant ecology, plant geography, plant genetics and molecular biology, and mainly studies the geographical distribution, biodiversity, system and evolution of garden plant germplasm resources (wild or cultivated). Study the collection, protection, preservation, development and utilization of germplasm resources. 2) Vegetation restoration and reconstruction Based on the genetic breeding of garden plants and wild plants, the restoration and reconstruction of vegetation are studied. Focus on plant stress resistance (including drought resistance, salt tolerance, cold resistance, disease resistance, etc.). ), through routine experiments such as screening and introduction of plant resources, and at the same time, the molecular biology research of plant stress resistance is carried out to explore the mechanism of plant stress resistance. At the same time, through genetic engineering, cultivate new horticultural varieties. 3) Genetic breeding of garden plants is based on plant genetics, plant ecology, plant physiology and molecular biology, and studies the genetic law and regulation mechanism of ornamental characters (flower color, flower pattern, leaf color, leaf shape, etc.). ) and physiological characteristics (drought resistance, cold resistance, disease resistance, insect resistance, etc. ) garden plants. Genetic improvement and new variety cultivation of important flower varieties were carried out by using conventional variety breeding, introduction and molecular breeding techniques. 4) Physiological ecology of garden plants mainly studies photosynthesis, respiration, transpiration, energy metabolism, water regulation, material transport, hormone regulation, stress resistance (including low temperature resistance, moisture resistance, pest resistance, saline-alkali resistance and shading), and their relationship with the environment and its mechanism. To study the morphogenesis, growth and development physiology of different ornamental plants and their relationship with the environment, as well as their adaptation to the environment and ecological effects. 5) Flower germplasm resources mainly study the ways and methods of investigation, collection, preservation and utilization of flower (wild or cultivated) germplasm resources; Classification, biological and ecological characteristics, introduction and domestication, breeding and popularization of improved varieties of flower germplasm resources. 6) The application of garden plants mainly studies the theory, technology and method of landscape planning and design with plant landscaping as the main body and forest park planning. Theory and method of landscape analysis and evaluation. 7) Garden plant cultivation management mainly studies the relationship between garden plant cultivation, reproduction, plants and ecological factors, the basic theory of garden plant protection and cultivation management measures, and gives full play to the comprehensive benefits of plants in improving the environment, recreation and economic production.
major feature
1), landscape plant germplasm resources
2) The frontier of vegetation restoration and reconstruction.
This subject was approved as a national first-class doctoral program in 20 1 1. After long-term discipline construction and accumulation, it has now formed the main research directions of regional ecology and landscape planning and design, landscape planning and design, landscape architecture theory and technology, landscape plant application and so on. Combined with the huge demand of urban landscape construction in China and the characteristics of urban environment and vegetation in cold regions, this subject aims at the scientific frontier of landscape architecture research, pays attention to the cross-integration of multidisciplinary theories and technologies, and focuses on landscape architecture planning and design, urban ecological evaluation and planning, and regional ecological landscape pattern planning, providing theoretical basis and technical support for urban ecological landscape construction and human settlements construction.
This subject pays attention to scientific research services, especially the research and horizontal projects of urban planning and urban design in cold areas, such as the pilot project of building a new socialist countryside in Harbin and the urban design along Kang 'an Road in Liqun New District of Harbin. Planning, design and research on the environment of cold residential areas, such as the environmental design of Dongsheng Riverside Residential Area in Harbin and the shantytown renovation project in Songling District of Daxing 'anling; For urban green space system planning projects in cold regions, such as qitaihe city green space system planning and Harbin green space system planning; Study on vegetation restoration engineering in cold regions. For example, vegetation restoration and landscape design of high-grade highways in cold areas, vegetation restoration and landscape design of Daqing Oilfield production areas; Biodiversity planning, such as qitaihe city Green Biodiversity Planning and Harbin Sun Island Landscape Biodiversity Planning.
This discipline attaches great importance to academic exchanges and cooperation at home and abroad.
