Junior economist examination subjects

The primary professional and technical qualification examination is divided into two subjects: basic economic knowledge and professional knowledge and practice. Professional knowledge and practice are divided into business administration, agricultural economy, commercial economy, taxation, finance, insurance, transportation (waterway, highway, railway, civil aviation), human resource management, post and telecommunications economy, real estate economy, tourism economy and construction economy.

Candidates can bring pens or ballpoint pens (black or blue), 2B pencils and erasers when taking the exam. The exam is divided into two and a half days, and each subject takes two and a half hours. The national economic professional and technical qualification examination qualified standard is 84 points.

Registration conditions:

Any citizen of People's Republic of China (PRC) who abides by the law and meets the prescribed registration requirements can apply for the corresponding level of economic professional and technical qualification examination: to apply for the primary qualification examination of economic professional and technical, one of the following conditions should be met: to obtain a high school education or above and engage in related professional work.

According to the spirit of the document Notice of the former General Office of the Ministry of Personnel on Issues Related to the Qualification Examination Arrangement and Examination Work of Some Professional and Technical Personnel (Guo Ren Ting Fa [2004] No.45), fresh graduates who have not obtained academic certificates at the time of registration must register for the examination with valid certificates (such as student ID cards) that can prove their graduation within the examination year and graduation certificates issued by the school according to the prescribed procedures and requirements.
