Fengcheng Laojiao, produced in Dandong City, Liaoning Province, is known as the first wine in Liaodong. Founded in 1905, it is very famous in the local area and has the reputation of "Little Maotai in the North".
The raw materials are high-quality red sorghum and wheat from black soil and high-quality water source from Fenghuang Mountain. It is made by saccharification and fermentation of bran koji and traditional technology. It is a bran koji maotai-flavor liquor.
