Surface principle

First, the expression of the surface principle is as follows

1. Replace the straight part with the curved part, the plane with the spherical surface, and the cube with the spherical surface;

2. Using rollers, spheres and spirochetes;

3. Using centrifugal force, use rotating objects instead of linear motion.

Because TRIZ's innovative principles are based on patent analysis, some principles are the accumulation of experience, and the surface principle is the summary of this experience. The principle of curved surface tells us that when faced with system problems, we can look for linear situations, relationships, straight lines, planes and cube shapes in the system, and try to change them into what new functions can be realized or obtained under nonlinear conditions. Of course, compared with straight lines and cubes, circles and spheres do have some advantages in geometric characteristics such as symmetry:

A. The circumference is the same, and the circle contains the largest area; A circle is completely symmetrical about its center;

B. With the same area, the ball can hold the largest volume, and the ball is completely symmetrical with the center point;

However, it should be pointed out that this advantage has not led us to use the principle of surface modification, but surface modification is an attempt:

A, manufacturing a square manhole cover into a round manhole cover;

B. The stress of semi-circular vault is better than that of square vault;

C. The wheel is a typical application of the geometric characteristics of a circle and a ball, and it can be moved by mounting the wheel;

D. The nib is made into a circle, which is easier to ink than other nibs and writes smoothly;

E. centrifugal force can realize dehydration and separation;

F. The spiral structure inside the jack has greater lifting force and better reliability;

G. the rolling ball mouse draws a straight line on the computer screen:

H. meat grinder

A circular runway instead of a straight runway.
