It is recommended not to use computers in Internet cafes.
1. During the electronic patent application process, the application content that needs to be transmitted should be kept confidential until it is announced by the Patent Office. Therefore, the Patent Office uses digital certificates for encryption during transmission. If you install a digital certificate on a computer in an Internet café, it may pose a security risk.
2. After submitting an electronic application, you need to receive various notifications from the Patent Office through CPC software. It is very inconvenient not to have a fixed computer.
3. Some computers in Internet cafes will prohibit certain operations, which may cause your digital certificate installation to fail.
Therefore, if you do not have a fixed computer, it is recommended to submit the application on paper.
